On my shopping list for tomorrow: avocados. Luckily they are tasty too, and healthy.
Are you sure the colour is lightfast? I know that tea is but usually those natural colours bleach quite fast. Well, even if it's bleached by the light I bet the colour will still be beautiful.
Now I know what you meant with "don't forget to dye the rosette with avocado ink" ;-)

Donna...thank you so much for doing this! First of all...you have the most GORGEOUS laces EVER!! Secondly...you're absolutely brilliant! Your rosettes were fabulous before but after an avocado bath they're even better! I was worried you were going to dip them in some guacamole! lol They are a beautiful final shade, Donna! I don't think I would have expected avocado skins to give a pink dye ten again I have never given it much thought lol. I like how you used natural organic thinks for your dye its something I would like to do one day I just have to put the time aside and do it. TFS! Hugs Sheron

They are so pretty! I had no idea you could use avacacdo skins to dye material and lace! It is the perfect shade of vintage pink! I'm going to try this and see how it turns out. Thank you for sharing! ~ Sarah
