Sad to say this but I think racism plays a big role in all of the Newton controversy. He was on the field more than he was at home with his dad. I'm personally not a huge Cam Newton fan, but, if he can get his passing game down and smooth, he'll be a nightmare for defenses. In college he ran the ball way too much, in my opinion. That shows me that he didn't trust his o-line or receivers. Cam has a lot of potential, he just needs to work on staying in the pocket.
