This movie isa a comment on a post 1960's counterculture west. People forgot on decency of 1950's. Everything is about money (or gasoline in this case), sex and drugs. You see how thughs are in punk fashion? This is result of counterculture of 1960's. Savages on the road. I myself am from Croatia, near Serbia. I consider some part of my people savages, as I consider some Anglosaxons. So, we have to take social norms of 1950's but respecting woman and gay rights!
