these post cards must be quite old ...but there were train tracks in downtown northfork back in the 50s and 60s..i grew up in algoma just up the road..and i would walk the tracks to northfork to visit my uncle who drove the truck for the island creek coal company..his name was harry davis ..i am his nephew tyrone
Any pictures of Northfork that have the train tracks going in front of the business district are not Northfork. That town would be Clark. The biggest majority of the buildings in Clark were torn down when I was in high school. A playground was built where they stood. I graduated Northfork High School in 1976.
Loved this. My mom, aunt, and uncle grew up here - Sadlers.
