So a while back i jailbroke my ipod 4g and idk i must of diwnloaded a lot of stuff but anywase it was tethered and it just crashed and i tryed to reboot it just froze and tryed to restor it but it wouldnt so i had to take it to my moms work for her IT people to fix it now im adraid to jailbreak it. So should i im in either 5.0 kr 5.0.1 and if there is a unteatherex jailbreak so please respond please

When updating a jailbreak, do you first need to go to itunes and download the update and apply to iphone/touch? Or do you just download the jailbreak and its updated?

I've been trying to use redsn0w to jailbreak the iPhone for weeks. All it does is error out halfway through, and no one will respond to my comments asking why. I do believe you have just solved this. Thank you very much. I will definitely be tweeting about this video.
