US Postal Service takes $5bn loss, warns of more

Depending on how one interprets Article I powers given to the congress this case could go either way, the congress is suppose to "promote the general welfare" but that's in the preamble, not formal Article I powers. Second, the counsel for the government is going to argue this as a tax, which if construed as such would be a legitimate exercise of congressional power. Personally, I don't feel health care is a right but rather a privilege but it's not up to me to decide that.
