Hey, thanks for praise! You got here fast! Yes, didn't want to step on any silent film toes, just create a bit of projector style nostalgia for the "love story"... Also, the lack of footage made it a pretty boring shot and I needed to stretch it out to the pre chorus (along with dodgey crossfades to nothing - again, no footage!) Colour graded literally 15 mins before I dropped it in, so some is pretty crap but some of it I actually like! When you're in a rush.. nyway, good luck with Brendan's.
definitely cut to amazing visual beats with limb movements, etc. What was the aim for the beginning shot, why the flicker not continued throughout? fear of looking like a silent film?
