No me gusta esta versión. Estoy estudiando esta pieza actualmente, pero me parece que John WIlliams está tocando demaciado rápido y como dijo alguien por allá abajo en los comentarios, "roboticamente". Recordemos que esta es una pieza romántica, tratemos de comparar esta pieza, con alguna de Chopin, despues de todo son del mismo género. Si la comparan, verán las diferencias.

Estoy de acuerdo, pero hay una grabación de Williams en donde la toca tal y como la quieres escuchar, no es la más actual, no estoy seguro pero me parece que en ese Cd vienen las folías de España.

@DavePazz Es cierto, la versión de Williams es perfecta desde un punto de vista técnico, pero Russell le impregna un sentimiento y color fascinante que lo hacen superior.

Creo que la toca muy rápido. No me llega de igual forma. Williams la toca perfecto en el disco recopilatorio de Agustín Barrios... ahí está sublime....

Wiliam is one of the best, a machine never mistakes, try to look at him in a song like sueno floresta, berta rojas playing barrios is not so tecnical but really she is lovely great feeling.... For the italian fan she will play in lodi 9 april 2010.

I really like David Russell's playing but I do not like how he plays Barrios. I actually prefer this. That, however, is a strictly personal opinion!

Have you heard the remastered Berta Rojas? I am from a more Baden, Egberto, Rabello, type perspective and while John Williams IS perfection, Berta Rojas has something to say as well.
