Well it has 6 engines unlike any western plane. A380 reached MTOW of 600 tons with 4 engines. It is speculated that they will even further increase it ! Imagine 700 tone plane taking off !

does russia manufacture any high bypass engines ? By the way IL 96M uses the same type of engine as boeing 757

Russia produces the PS-90A high by-pass turbofan. They can be considered an evolution of 757's turbofan, in fact PS-90A are more efficient. That model of engine powers Il-96 and Tu-204.
