So should you break up the cells that the roots are in? I've always assumed that by doing so you allow the roots to get a jump start rather than fighting their way out of the matrix that they have made in the container.
I am a zone 4, if I plant things like broccoli, cabbage by seed directly in garden will they be ready for cool weather and if so when should I plant directly in the garden, should I wait until about July?
So everyone says cold weather crops, nobody ever said what the temp is that they supposedly love
