First of all GT's are amazing cars, but you can get 2 Nissan GTR's for the price of one GT. Also the GTR's are way better in the quarter mile ( all wheel drive, shown in video it get's a better start ) And yes the GT is faster, you can get an Alpha 12 package for your GTR ( it will still be less then a GT ) and you can easily beat an GT. In conclussion GTR's are more bang for your buck!

If anything, it shows how good the GTR is. It can keep up, for a little bit with an amazing car that is tuned. I love GTRs, I in no way see this video degrading the GTR.
i don't have either car so i'm not biased ... but the Ford GT should be able to keep up and actually outrun the GTR (top speed over 210 mph) However with a dead stop going from 0-60 the GTR would beat the Ford GT (2.9 secs)

I agree, the Ford GT is in a class apart from the GTR for pure HP. Never seen one try to autocross before but I've seen enough races to know Ford GT's are a straight line death machine. I drive a turbo supra and would take a Ford GT over a GTR in a heartbeat.

I have become a huge fan of the GT-R and with the nice changes they have made to it for the 2012 model year. But the Ford GT is an absolute class act and amazing looking supercar. Plus, the engine, fuel system and all that are more than 1,000 whp+ capable right from the factory. The Ford GT sounds much better as well and is more of an actual "exotic" in my mind. The GT-R has amazing performance much like a Z06..both beat cars that are WAY more expensive but neither are exotics really.
that ford gt makes over 700bhp. Now lets compare this to the p700 GTR from switzer... makes 626awhp and 585 ft-lbs of torque... and traps 135mph in the 1/4 mile which is 3mph higher then this ford gt...

It's almost a 7 year old car (If it is an 05), versus a brand new car.
Of course the newer one will win due to the modern technology.

I agree, the Ford GT is in a class apart from the GTR for pure HP. Never seen one try to autocross before but I've seen enough races to know Ford GT's are a straight line death machine. I drive a turbo supra and would take a Ford GT over a GTR in a heartbeat.

I have become a huge fan of the GT-R and with the nice changes they have made to it for the 2012 model year. But the Ford GT is an absolute class act and amazing looking supercar. Plus, the engine, fuel system and all that are more than 1,000 whp+ capable right from the factory. The Ford GT sounds much better as well and is more of an actual "exotic" in my mind. The GT-R has amazing performance much like a Z06..both beat cars that are WAY more expensive but neither are exotics really.

that ford gt makes over 700bhp. Now lets compare this to the p700 GTR from switzer... makes 626awhp and 585 ft-lbs of torque... and traps 135mph in the 1/4 mile which is 3mph higher then this ford gt...

why so many dislikes on this video? the title clearly says stock gtr vs a modified gt, we all know its not a fair race, but it does show how fast that gt is with a pulley, the stock 2012 gtr runs flat 11s at the track with 124mph on stock tires, that means that gt will probably trap over 130mph and deep in the 10s if it gets traction

With the same bhp, the Ford GT would be faster from a roll due to its nearly 350 lb lower weight...bone stock the Ford GT has a quite a bit higher top speed as well: 212 mph. Both cars have forced induction. Frd gt weighs much less and was making more power. the twin turbos on the GTR are for quick spooling. Not for straight up top end. And beat the shit out of a GTR?
