i meant ti.. im on a mini laptop at my friends place.. its weird so icant type and Si is shi.. its just recently that its now shi... and 90% of people in japan i talk to say its spelled in english as SI because thats how you write it on your Passport and cards etc.. the other 10% dont know what im talking about.. and they dont use di or any of those letters anymore like wi etc... like 20% of ppl i talk to know about them.. and its only the nerds that do lol
.. strange, didnt notice anything like that when I was in Japan, but I have noticed that in some programs and aswell in IME standard Japanese keyboard u can write ti and get chi also si and get shi. but its still alien to me why people would write it like that when they know its shi and chi :)
plus wen im on games like cso and since microsoft ime even stuffs up for japanese people (you have to quit game and fix the ime then load game all over again to be able to type in japanese) they type in ローマ字 and they dotn use spaces which is annoying and they type like this "こん、僕は健二だ。今日はオーストラリアにほんま暑いな・・" would be something like "kon, bokuhakenjida.kyouhaoosutorarianihonmaatuina" which is really hard to read
also.
へ, は and を are pronounced different when used as particle. "を" can either mean "wo" or "o", for example. google "hepburn romanization" for more information on this :D
awesome :)
