Fucking amazing series, what really appeals to me about it is that the characters are surprisingly interesting and fresh. Many of the typical anime stereotypes are lost with these guys (though admittedly not all, what with Goku's eating habits). Rock on Saiyuki :D

I think Saiyuki is actually what first got me attracted to yaoi. I mena, I know that Gojyo's a flirt, Hakkai had that little lost love thing and everyone had a girl or two they really liked throughout the whole series, but come on. 4 guys traveling together with a dragon changeling? You can't tell me that nothing would happen with any one of them. Although, even though Goku is like, 500+ years old, some people would consider that chile molestation. o.O

I never said it was yaoi. But like I said, there's little bits and pieces in there that at least hint towards something along the lines of yaoi/shounen-ai, especially the whole Hakkai/Gojyo thing. I know Gojyo had a bit of insecurity thing going on because of his mother, but that scene when he hid his face from Hakkai because he looked at him, that part has Shounen-ai written all over it.
