I hate to say it - but I actually agree with that quote from Margaret Sanger. People are NOT all the same - there ARE genetic differences between people and the low IQ masses DO tend to breed more, work less, be more violent, etc.
Do I believe in forced eugenics? Hell no! But neither do I believe that we should be SUBSIDIZING and ENCOURAGING the birth of non-working, high breeding, low IQ masses who will eventually overwhelm society with their ever increasing numbers!!!!!!
I would essentially advocate a hands off approach to this, as it is easier to deal with the village idiot rather than a nation of idiots. My problem with Sanger is that she was a genocidal wacko who supported ethnic cleansing and forced sterilization and even execution of idiots. She wrote a letter to the NAZI government praising them for their torturous methods.
Yes, that is exactly what I am advocating - a "hands off" approach. But "hands off" also means no welfare, no free housing, no free food, etc. If a person is not smart enough to support THEMSELVES, then how can we justify supporting their children as well?
If intelligent, productive people continue to support (through tax dollars) the births of unintelligent, unproductive people then it will not be long before we DO have a "nation of idiots."
This is what separates voluntary charity from statist collectivism, and I would argue that most government and corporate elites want a nation of idiots because it serves their end to power. Nonetheless, I would encourage private philanthropy to try and bolster the disadvantaged. Nobody is completely useless either.
I agree - I think "welfare" and other forms of charity should take place on the local level. If a person needs free money, they should have to LOOK INTO THE EYES of the community who is handing it to them and be accountable for that money. That would solve a lot of problems right there.
Just think....All insurance, other than tax funded, falls by the wayside. Injured & need medical attention? Ok, but first, you need to be pumped with whatever vaccinations the govt. deems necessary.
The control of health care will no longer be in the hands of your doc, or family. We're being reduced to nothing but numbers. That is if we aren't there already.
My thoughts exactly Katfellow, I actually find it absurdly amusing that people supporting this actually believe that some pencil pushing drone in a government office can care about a person beyond the number on the page.
If the healthcare goes through say goodbye to older people and ones who are not deemed perfect. Sanger and her cohorts do not deserve to be here. They are pure evil. Sanger hopefully is in hell now.
Although I'm a believer in the ultimate sovereignty of God, I am also a believer in assurance of salvation. Sanger is in hell, there's really nothing in scripture that would suggest otherwise.
Could I agree more?

Once again you said it perfectly. Have the supporters of this bill thought about their lost future constituents.
