The reason why christians keep Sunday special is because Jesus rose from the dead on a SUNDAY. That is why Sunday is our sabbath, because Jesus through his death and resurrection brought in the new covenant of Grace - a fulfilment of the old covenant.
The Sabbath of God never changed, not even when Jesus rose from the dead. Remember, the new covenant is simply the same law, just written on our hearts as opposed to tablets of stone.

Great. Could you provide for me the scripture where Jesus commands the observance of Sunday in honor of His resurrection or where the disciple or Gentiles met on Sunday in honor of the resurrection? Also, where will it be found that Sunday is a part of the new covenant? I was under the impression that a person can only change their last will and testament before they die. If Sunday was going to be a new change, why didn't Jesus do it at the last supper with the bread and wine?

I'm not sure what you thought my point was, but I'll be more clear if I can: Sunday is not the true Sabbath. At all. People can come up with whatever excuse they want to keep Sunday as their Sabbath, but it's not biblical. Why not keep Tuesday to honor David defeating Goliath? How about Thursday to commemorate Solomon's baby judgement? Not. Biblical.

@JMMCL16 no,the reason why christians keep SUNday is because its was changed by the authority of the holy roman catholic church.this was prophesied as the beast power where it says:Daniel 7:23-25"And he shall speak great words against the most High,and shall wear out the saints of the most High(dark ages, inquisition),and think to change times and laws"look at the 10 commandments in the RCC.#2 is gone about graven images and the 4th is reworded to exclude the 7th day.it was foretold in the bible

Actually, he was already risen. It is more likely that he arose at sundown Saturday, or sabbath. Wed.-Sat., three days and three nights.
