It's even worse if you're a tech & get someone on the help desk that is themselves, a 12:00 flasher...

Last time I got one, I argued with them for THREE DAYS off & on...

They finally sent someone out to replace the hardware I told them was pooched & sure enough, it was pooched hardware (ah the joy of wireless highspeed).

I had them add a note to my file. "This person is a technician. If they say they need something, DON'T ARGUE, just do as they say".

Since then, NO problems.

I worked at an Internet helpdesk also. In the early 2000s. I loved this video. We have said some of these lines word for word, no lie, and it was before even seeing the video. Classic!
