lots of pairs of docs lined up outside Top Rank southampton on saturday morning with all the junior skins inside stomping to Arthur Sheriff(dj) playing top trojan sounds and skinhead reggae to us under 14's not allowed in on tuesday nights.ha ha fab memories!!
This 56 year old grandad of one and father of four feels about 16 and is travelling from his Birmingham home to Wigan and London every weekend!!!! Great days!!!
Great music,I went down Berwick Street a few years ago and found a great music shop pow,I got all the old stuff from when I was a young buck, three albums for a tenner.Who will ever forget Young Gifted and Black......bring it on.
From one 51 year old to another! This evokes really happy childhood memories of listening to this et al on our wee record player last thing at night. My sister was around 14/15 and an avid fan of Northern Soul, Reggae and Motown and its stuck with me eversince. Enjoy all. x
@doug4358 i dunno what to say to dickheads like you. you seek out records like this then make a stupid comment like that. actually i do know what to say........fuck off u sad c***
I was 12 going on 13 and this year was fantastic, just great reggae all year long, getting into trouble, running with my mates, fighting, football, and the girls, I close my eyes and listen to this and I'm right there, great great days.thanks for uploading
Love, Love, Love This! Think I was about 9ys old, nicking my sister's 'Tighten Up Vol 2' to listen to this and some classic tracks.
Thanks to her I had an enviable collection by the time the Skinhead revival came around in the late 70s. Everyone knew the covers - I had the originals!
This 51yr old nan has some sweet, good time memories.

One of those pieces of music that shake me to the foundations of my soul. I must have heard it thousands of times and it still kills me!

I remember skanking to this at the youth club back in the day with my short-sleeved Ben Sherman, two-tone tonic trousers and braces! Good times!

@lelleyandpom I'm in my room, wearing almost exactly what you've described skanking to this :) Classics like this will never die!
