During that time frame, our county population has grown about 85%, and inflation has gone up about 260%. Hence property tax revenues today are substantially higher than the bloated PRE-Prop 13 year, even after adjusting for inflation and population growth.

Immigration is a serious problem in California. Immigrants flock to California like herd of cattle down the Chisholm Trail looking for their freebbies. Social Services and the welfare system gives in too easily and feed the unemployed illegal immigrants. Many immigrants are "babymakers" "junkies" or career criminals. CA need to find their backbone and give these bastards the boot! That will shave off a good 10 million off their budget debt!
Perpetual debt, price gauging, greed, money & job scarcity are bi products of this putrid capitalist system. But again, there's no better way for the corporate elite to steal people's money than through "free enterprise". Just look at the American "for profit" private health care system we have in place today. It's no wonder why right wingers, by in large oppose "public option" as it relates to health care reform.
