Why can't more live music be this intense, dramatic and amazing sounding today? Where has all the originality gone? Why are the general public obsessed with endless X-factor clones and mediocre, mass-marketed drivel? Aieeee!
Saw this when it was broadcast back in... ohh 89/90? and bought every release Cranes had since - hate to think what it would be like to have missed that episode.
sixth of may is like an anthem, like the death march.alison is like a figurehead of a beautiful ship that has docked into portsmouth. has anyone got any more of sixth of may? You can never get enough of that you know its orgasmic.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
While I like a lot of different kinds of music, Cranes has to be my all-time favorite Band! I saw them play whenever/wherever possible, and they never failed to wow the crowd (or me)! Thanks for this great post!
You either love 'em or loathe 'em ... i enjoy their stuff so much it's sick. Got 2 finally see what they look like in action on the DVD that came w/ "Particles & Waves" so this is a real treat.
It's hard to find media for Cranes. Thanks for posting this! Incredible!

Just wish the interview had been longer---as
I don't see a CRANES interview elsewhere on
YouTube.
Also they should have mixed Alison's voice
up louder on that last song...I couldn't
quite hear her against the loud band....

No doubt, combined maybe. I had the opportunity to meet them both last time they were through Detroit here. Very nice, very down to earth.

Nice quality audio and sound -- and a nice picture of a great band in their early days. Fun fact: Alison and her brother are about 7 feet tall...
