  • Anyway, if the MOD had to approve each frame of this video there's obviously something advanced they're hiding.

  • Typical American comments being spewed out here. Just when a country exhibits capabilities that rival their own, they go on a mass slander spree to try and take down the other country by a notch or two.

  • We have been looking at mock ups for over another year . Test FLIGHT should of been February 2011.What happened to that ! ! And where is the podject now

  • beside of its fancy func.s now it fell down and captured by Iran.. still stealh?... nahhh

  • @themaniaxx Wasn't one of these....

  • @themaniaxx That was a US drone, not a Taranis.

  • @TheLahness That was Taranis, not a US Drone. She will fly for the first time later this year in Western Australia.

  • Who would this weapon be used on? I don't see why you need a stealthy UAV to drop bombs on jihadists or do raids in 3rd world countries. As for someone more competent like China or Russia, well, if it came to war with them it'd be sheer nuclear devastation anyway.

  • @cadmus98 No, all countries with WMD's have what's knows as MAD, which stands for Mutually Assured Destruction. It is the understanding and agreement that if one country fired it nukes so would the other, and both would die. So neither country will fire nukes.

  • @TheLahness Nukes don't have to be "fired" for there to be nuclear war; they can be sent in other ways. If a nuke was delivered in a more clandestine manner - perhaps via an intelligence agent, or by some proxy - then how could the nuked country determine for sure whether that nuke was "fired" from a country they were at war with? If they were to respond in a nuclear manner, they may not know whether they were responding or initiating full scale nuclear war.

  • @TheLahness Stll, I wonder who Taranis would be useful against. I'm guessing a state that is harboring something or someone undesirable, has decent air defenses, and where you don't want full scale invasion. For example, Pakistan. There is already military hardware and personnel in place to deal with that, however, such as supersonic cruise missiles, intelligence agents, etc. Why the need for Taranis?

  • @cadmus98 Well, nukes still leave behind traces of the bomb that held them, like blast shields etc, that can be tracked back to the country it was made in. Also, it is way too risky, all the nuclear countries have intelligence agencies that might find out about it, no country would risk that kind of destruction. And Pakistan is not a threat, at least not to Britain, Pakistan and Britain have been allies since the decommissioning of the Empire.

  • @TheLahness you're not going to find any parts of a nuke, even if they did survive by the time you have cleared up the apocalyptic in 30, 40 years time, the world would have moved on.

  • @PlaneAU You can find traces of nukes after they have detonated, and even after 30-40 years I think you would still want to know who detonated a nuke and killed hundreds of thousands or maybe millions of your people.

  • Lame... All they said was technology five billion times. "tekkhnaaalaaggiii" word in itself is overrated. A lot of times it's whats proven itself over time that works rather than fancy words.

  • lolx terminator has warned russia , the warnings had been ignored

  • I'd like a job on this project at £140 per hour

  • who gives a shit about that plane i want to know more about that reporter

  • It looks like a x47b?????

  • Comment removed

  • @duckbanana12 Nevermind

  • british engineering is the best

  • @dmax631 thats why they are buying us f-35's and the brits are the most powerfull

  • @USAmilitarypower F-35 is not a sole american plane the The UK, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Norway and Denmark All are contributing to the development of the plane UK (BAE systems) are producing the aft fuselage and empennages, horizontal and vertical tails, crew life support and escape systems, Electronic warfare systems, fuel system, and Flight Control Software.

  • @xDarkVengeancex uk owns 40% of the stov one and they made 6 sensors in it the rest is usa but the other country's get the blueprints and make them

  • @USAmilitarypower Do some research next time before thinking you know it all all the information regarding what parts are being built in the uk by BAE systems which i stated in my previouse post can be found on Bae systems website as well as lockheedmartin google lockheedmartin f35 an in lockheedmartins website click partnerships the uk will produce all the parts stated in my previouse post parts for all variants of the F35 A.B.C

  • @xDarkVengeancex ya UK owns 40% of the stov one and has sensors in the other ones UK does do stuff on it but usa does the majority

  • @USAmilitarypower 6 sensors? seriosly? the f35 is using a euro fighter style HUD, Radar, engines, the on board computers, the software. both companies are sticking to their strengths.

  • @MikeNspicy ya i know i was just pointing out the main thing i new but uk only owns 40 % of the stovle f-35 and that because they only own the engines to the stovle one

  • Stealthy UAV's for the win.

  • This or its prototypes are allready flying as me and work mates have seen it in the air with typhoon escorts.......

  • Can't wait to see it fly...Since it is brought to us by the same folks who are responsible for the Mosquito, Spitfire, Meteor, the Merlin engine.(made the P51 worthwhile). and the US16E (saved many asses...literally) , It will only make for a safer world. I would hope that some of the commentators understand that the US and British are inseparable despite the bad manners and foul language shown by a few.

  • In the END ....He have a mind and bomb you all U.S.A.

  • for an aircraft to be stealthy they all must be shaped like that

so i woudnt say it was copying

  • copy of us phantom ray

  • @marcusbloods1 taranis looks better though haha. wasnt the taranis announced before the phantom?

  • @SirAmnesia no it was not , plus it may look better but phantom is allot better than crap

  • @marcusbloods1

The Taranis was on the drawing board years before the phantom ray. So if any copying is going on here, its the U.S copying Britain...again. We build state of the art aircraft carriers, you build state of the art aircraft carriers, we build unmanned fighter jets, you build unmanned fighter jets. We speak English, you speak English. The list goes on. Stop copying us!.

  • @MrDeano324 what state of the art aircraft carries u have and what state of the art aircraft u have , we have 10 carries how much u have , we have the worlds biggest and most modern airforce u ranked some where in 4th place and u buy our unmanned drones lol so who better , we 10 steps ahead of u

  • @marcusbloods1

We are building the Queen Elizabeth class carriers, you copy by building the Gerald R Ford class Carriers. We build the Taranis, you copy by building the Phantom Ray. Got it now?. And if it was not for Britains industrial revolution, you would have just discovered steam technology. And, if it wanst for Britain, you would not have a country, and you would not be sitting there alive today. BOOM!, eat that colonial bitch!

  • @MrDeano324 yo we build nimitz class u now trying to catch up with that elizabeth shit , nimitz class 10 times better than whatever u put in the water and stop talkin bout that taranis shit , we the first ppl to put drones into combat and thats why u buy our predator drones , and u want to talk bout history ok how bout this piece if was not for us military u all would be speaking german bitch!

  • @marcusbloods1

Haha, we were defeating the germans 3 years before you entered the war. We pushed back and defeated the german advance in the Battle of Britain. Without Americas help. Britains victory forced hitler to invade Russia which was his greatest downfall. It also meant there was a launch point for D-Day which evidently won the war for the Allies. Read a history book before you "talk bout history"....Bitch!

  • @MrDeano324 if u did research u would have known that there were us troops fighting long before the us offically entered , btw who supplied with all your weaponry oil and food when hittler destroyed your production capability BITCH!!!

  • @marcusbloods1

Hitler did not destroy our production capability as we were churning out Spitfires, hurricaines, 303's, stens, brens, ect. daily up untill the end of the war. After we defeated the german invasion force, they no longer had the capability to bomb us...And I have done my reasurch, and America enterd ww2 on Dec 8 1941, ofcourse a few gun-ho lads wanted to join the action and headed for europe. but they do not represent the entire United States. you have an IQ of 5, BITCH!

  • @marcusbloods1 The US didnt set up Lend Lease ( The loan of weapons to the UK ) untill March 1941.....the Battle of Britain was fought won and ended by 31st October 1940....so the US didnt lend the UK weapons until 6 months AFTER the Battle of Britain had ended...then only 1/4 of the UK;s equipment was on loan.

As for a German invasion "Operation Sealion" an invasion wasnt possible at all, hence why Hitler moved on to Russia.

Hitler never destroyed UK production,it thrived.

  • @marcusbloods1 jesus you are thick, history re-writing is lame.

  • @hitlerfanboy u fuckin faggot

  • @marcusbloods1 didnt exactly back your claims up there did you? "u fuckin faggot"

  • @leonwiganer negitive.... F-35 is a STEALTH fighter.... used in silence.... They're replacing those 3 for the F-22 raptor not the F-35....

  • @leonwiganer Not a fucking taranis....... A f35........ maybe if you read tigerfedor's comment you would of relised what i'm talking about! -_-

  • it looks good

  • It is REALLY good, so too the Dassault nEUROn, the Eurofighter Typhoon, Gripen, Rafale etc. And this is necessary with the Russian madness of Rearmament starting to really pick up. Satellite Missiles, SAMS designed to reach lower Earth Orbit, PAKFA, T95 Tanks, Kamov Alligators,MIG-35, SU-37,Carriers planned. Like Germany, devastated by a lost war and the economic collapse of the 90s, bitterly resentful. The exact same scenario as Germany post-Versailles, the famous "stab in the back".

  • That reporter was really hot

  • if i was stuck on the sahara desert africa, id want to get picked up by this babe

  • What about Australia it has no stealth bombers :(

  • @turkanator123 we would sell these to the aussies, the assies are also getting the f35

  • @tigerfedor1 We are thinking of not having one because they are so shit they cant win against a f16

  • google RQ-170. American UCAV already flying from Afghanistan, fitted with spy equipment instead of weapons.

  • @NWguy83 The RQ-170 isn't a UCAV, so far as I know. It's a recon bird.

  • @Sapieteuthid It is set up for recon, but it looks like it could be armed if the USAF wanted it to be.

  • @NWguy83 The designation of "R" instead of "M" or "A" seems to suggest recon only, but then again they do sometimes intentionally give aircraft misleading designations.

  • @Sapieteuthid Like F-117 instead of A-117 or B-117.

  • This is good. Making up for years of wasted years of hardly any british development

  • Just posted on another thread this thing is said to be a global UAV well its not a glider so the only way it could get from A - Z, Z is a lot further away than B by the way. As I can't see how it could carry enough fuel or drop tanks I think were also looking at a scram jet. Mach 4+ your not exactly going to catch it ,or stop it. BAE's other toy the Eurofighter will do a 8G turn @ Mach2 and not rip its wings off... So its a good bet the airframe is up to it. Any jobs going on this project?

  • what are they making in secret the fucking terminator shit man this is so fucking cool looks like britian is on to something

  • @antiscreen Imagine a long range bomber variant of this, We could deploy tens of thousands of these things and destroy any city in the world without even using a nuke and also at the cost of no British lives. AND IT ESCAPED THE DEFENCE CUTS!, fuck the harriers, outfit our new super carriers with these and we would rule the waves once more, how it is supposed to be.

  • @MrDeano324 yep they should listen to you my friend coz thats a good fucking idea ,,but wait for it the americans will CLAIM they invented it like they think they made the harrier

  • it get shot down UK's Economy IS FKED :L

  • @funhat65

    ? lol

With the way things are going...you would be more accurate in saying this itself will fuck our economy lolz

  • @29Gixxer rofl yea! :L

  • Good vehicle going to be made but for the wrong reasons.

  • When an ICBM/SLBM is in full flight (13000 Mph+)...not even Jesus can stop it :0

  • @29Gixxer 13000 Mph? Todays tracking systems have no problem with that speed. It's like a standstill.

  • @QIQrrr

I read the article although..."The US Missile Defense Agency has not released the distance for the initial intercept, and Krone will not elaborate on the range achieved in the new test".

This does not prove the US has the capability of hitting ICMB's/SLBM's in full flight. This UAV however is linked to Lockheeds evelopment programme (it even said here that GE were involved).and they even have a Plant in Wales where BAE & LHM are working on them.

  • @29Gixxer Yes, there are several big names involved. The article gives a clue on the progress since February: "The tests have extended the range of the ALTB by a factor of four or five times, Krone says."

  • @QIQrrr

I am going to go with you on this so that I can get your view on something esle which is related....

What are your views on China? I am talking about the future m8.

  • @29Gixxer China looks potent at the moment, but they've got a long way to go regardless of context. As long as they're moving in the right direction I'm optimistic, but it's hard to tell what the future brings. Things could change.

  • Here we go...another Yanky day dreamer lol. The SDI initiative was canx by the Bush Administration...like the F22, Seawolf & Comanche lmao. I know you guys tend to have a habbit of believing in things that you cannot see but lets stick in the world of reality for just a minute.US has an Airbourne laser although this is only capable of taking out ICBM's whilst there on the ground. It cannot take out SLBM's.

  • We are Brits and have sense/logic. When you can actually show us this magical technology you dream of...then you will be taken seriously :0

  • @29Gixxer Only on the ground? Not so.

  • @QIQrrr

Well technically...a few feet off of the ground. Here are the successfull tests of this high energy laser tech in Feb 2010.

    w w w . r e u t e r s . c o m / a r t i c l e / i d U S N 1 1 1 1 6 6 0 6 2 0 1 0 0 2 1 2

If you have anything to share then I will be very interested.

  • @QIQrrr

I don't deal with what people claim mate. I can claim that I have a device allowing me to travel in time but that does not make it so. I only deal with what has officially been released as then we can be sure it is not bollocks :)

  • @29Gixxer The Taranis and the French nEUROn are based on knowledge from the J-UCAS project. It's not a very big secret.

  • @29Gixxer That's already old. "Boeing has dramatically expanded the engagement envelope of the 747-400-based Airborne Laser Testbed (ALTB) since the first short-range intercept test in February" - google the headline: "Airborne Laser boosts range in new intercept tests"

  • Our StarWars first strike inititative created by the greatest president, Ronald Reagan will knock that thing out of the sky before it ever is a threat to US soil. Yes, we have laser satellietes and missiles in outerspace pointed at all countries just waiting to blast their ICBM's out of the sky over their own countries. This is why we are setting our sights on the Moon again with unmanned robots. While Brittian is working on this, we're working on our "Nuke them from the Moon" Program

  • @racassel The Taranis is based on DARPA technology.

  • @racassel i think you so american paranoid jurko ,us british dont need to attack america we let you attack and kill each other ,hopefully 1 day no yanks will we here to talk utter bollox

  • @racassel

and heres us thinking we were friends,i think we should change sides and go to the Russians

  • @VigisKane You care about being friends with a moron? Even though we are both Americans he is not on the same side as me lol.

  • @racassel UK AND AMERICA R FRIENDS SO WE WONT TRY ATTACK WE SIC OF WAR.but man the way some of you talk to us is shocking some friends you r

  • finally a jet that can attack its own country...false flags

  • @gasdorf Is it a UFO built by the illuminati?

  • @QIQrrr yep think they will use them to attack our own people?

  • @gasdorf Of course. What else could it possibly be used for? Nothing. The extermination will start soon, at noon, and the illuminati will take over the world, or what is left of it, which in any case isn't much to begin with, but still. You know.

  • @QIQrrr all they gotta do is load it with a nuke and start a war

  • @gasdorf We're doomed!
