Anyone remember that one episode of TNG where Riker had to bang this alien nurse chick to escape the hopital and the Government official played by Les Nessman?
I might be 24, but I'd love to see a TV show done in mid-70s and early 80's style, even the comedy seems to be dignified. Girls had different hair styles too! Now a days, it's all slicked back like they drenched it in oil!
does anyone have a clip of Les in the office discussing the door to his office? I loved those scenes when he made his coworkers knock on his 'door' to and grant them entrance to his office. It was hilarious
LOL, remember he had tape on the floor indicating his walls, the door was where the dotted line was :P I wanted to see the frozen turkey incident episode
Has anyone seen the Solid Gold video with Nicolette Larson singing Lotta Love? She was wearing jeans and she looked HOT! I can't find it any longer. Does anyone have it??
I often feel the same way but then there are some great shows left... like 'The Office". But I agree the number of quality shows are few and far between and alas, remembering the old days just gives us that warm fuzzy feeling anyway, right?
Richard Sanders was frighteningly good as Les. Even when he's doing presenter schtick on another show, everything he says is totally in character for Les.
great tv from the 70's!!!!!

Les Nesman always reminded me of what a human C3P0 would be like.

First Contact Season 4 and it wasn't Richard Sanders that played the character you are thinking of

Pretty good, but would've been even better with Nicolette!

What you have to realize here is that these two are giving you their "WKRP in Cincinnatti schtick" and not their real stuff.
As has been mentioned, Sanders (who played Les) was really quite good in character.
I agree.
