  • Anyone else think he should have gotten a wide screen tv?

  • lesson learned: this is possibly the most fun a golfer will ever have

  • skip to 2 :38 to see him hit the tv

  • Hey Dan great vid--Who does the music? Please tell me.

  • how do you get such a good up curve on the ball

  • The ball is hit downward with backspin from a wast high tee. Because of the speed, launch angle and spin it rises.

  • how do you get suck a good up curve on the ball

  • why does the balls curve up?

  • So cool it's remote controll golf ball right?

  • omfg when will he hit it?

  • pause it at 2:13 and u see the golf ball on top of the tv

  • wow they are top flight for a reason

  • how many golf balls did u lose doing this

please give me a number (.....)

    thnx

  • thats cool how it flys away lol

  • The momentum motion of energy making ball curve up ?

  • @hyrael2 It's called the magnus effect. In this case, back spin.

  • @flattrackmile i'd know about back spin but didn't knew it was like that powerfull, well, i'm far from being that pro xd

  • Love this video wish I had a Tv I could hit for my own show!

  • I believe I can fly

  • this vid is 2:45 too long

  • i tryed something like this, but i dident see the huge tree behind it, and when i hit it. it just skimme the top of the target and hit the tree bouncing back and then hit my friend in the leg....so all good :P

  • 97 HANDICAP

  • How far can the ball go when you hit it like that?

  • Yeesh, orgasm sounds at 0:28

  • ahahaha

  • I have to try that shot with the upwards hook

  • poor tv

  • the golf balls fly

  • do golf balls fly up??

  • The Magnus effect is the phenomenon whereby a spinning object flying in a fluid creates a whirlpool of fluid around itself, and experiences a force perpendicular to the line of motion. The overall behaviour is similar to that around an aerofoil (see lift force) with a circulation which is generated by the mechanical rotation, rather than by aerofoil action.

  • okay, from what i understand (im dutch, so dont expect too much ;p) its like a bullet in water, where it flies upward, to the surface, by an airbubble wich it pushes forward... (they did it on mythbusters) ?

  • What would we do without you Bill Nye the Kendrick guy?

  • shutup

  • what kind of tee is that

  • If u smash a tv screen with a brick and it isnt cracked beefore. It explodes cuz of the gas. done it tons of times

  • The CRT is a vacuum tube...There is no gas inside.

The "smoke" in the video is water vapor from the outside air that condenses when it enters the vacuum of the cracked TV tube.

A CRT appears to "explode," but it actually implodes first then releases debris as the vacuum equalizes with the outside air pressure.

  • Huh? What about the phosphor coating? wouldn't that create a smoke like image?

  • hilarious, the funniest thing i've watched all day

  • whats with the high tee? cheat :P

  • nice

  • Thenm tvs are very strong my granda thru a house brick at one and it just boucned off

  • nice video
