  • I cant believe how many crazy lunatics are running for president...

  • Iran is planning to place medium-range missiles on Venezuelan soil. Some of the missiles can reach the U.S., according to an article in the German daily, Die Welt, of November 25, 2010. According to the article, an agreement between the two countries was signed during the last visit of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to Tehran on October19, 2010.

  • Venezuela has agreed to allow Iran to establish a military base manned by Iranian missile officers, soldiers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Venezuelan missile officers. In addition, Iran has given permission for the missiles to be used in case of an "emergency".

In return, the agreement states that Venezuela can use these facilities for "national needs" – radically increasing the threat to neighbors like Colombia.

  • Iranian Shahab 3 (range 1300-1500 km), Scud-B (285-330 km) and Scud-C (300, 500 and 700 km) will be deployed in the proposed base.

Shahab 3 can reach the U.S. A few more years, and Iran will put nukes on them. Thus the U.S. is to be nuked at Iran's or Venezuela's desire.

Welcome to the brave new world.

  • About the S-300PMU-1 air defence systems that Russia was to sell to Iran, but declined to do so to comply with the Iran sanctions.

Guess who Russia is selling them to:

    Venezuela.

If Iran, therefore, cannot get the S-300 missiles directly from Russia, it can still have them through its proxy, Venezuela, and deploy them against its staunchest enemy, the U.S..

  • @luyben12

Nuclear ally, dumbass? lol We have the most potent nuclear force in the history of the world, with far more nukes and delivery systems. We even have ABMs. lmao moron You don't know a goddamn thing.

  • @luyben12

In other words, you can't identify even one thing Israel does for us. What do we get out of this alliance, specifically stupid? You've already embarrassed yourself.

  • @luyben12

lmao My god, stupid. What does Israel do for us? Tell me, stupid.

  • @luyben12

lol Why should I care if Israel's destroyed, stupid? Is Israel entitled to my tax dollars?

And anyone who defends Bush is a first rate moron. lol

  • @luyben12

You're goddamn right I blame Bush. And give me some examples of progress on the Iran and North Korea situations. After all, Bush had 8 years to deal with this, 6 of which were with majorities in Congress.

  • @luyben12

lol Bush ignored the big intelligence warning that al Qaida was determined to strike within the US using planes. All he had to do was beef up security at airports and it may have been enough. My god.

And with regard to one nuke getting loose, I imagine foreign governments know that if we think they let some nukes loose, intentionally or otherwise, the consquences could be severe, including up to nuclear retaliation.

  • @luyben12

I don't care if they do have nukes, stupid. We have far more of them with extreme technological superiority.

  • Newt is just telling it like it is whether you like it or not! A radical islamic totalitarian ideology pays no attention to anything but itself! The total destruction of Israel is all it thinks about and consequences are of no matter to them!

  • It took me a minute to get myself to gather here, but he real told the truth.

  • I'm with Kurtlane on this one.

Newt Gingrich was just stating the obvious. ALthough what he said might insight fear, it was true. Ahmadinejad is a very unstable man

  • irancoverage who post this video is lost & deceived. He is probably one of those idiots who do not even understand why we were attacked on 9/11.Whose side are you on?Do not tell me you are American. You can't possibly be.I can tell that. What country do you live in?As Kurtlane said"Those who warned about Hitler were also called sensationalist and fear-mongering" & we all know how that turned out!People thought Hitler was just some nut and posed no real threat. The biggest error in history! Wake up!

  • Fear mongering my ass.I have read what Iranian president says.He believes he will bring on the apocolypse. That is a sick man.Calls us the Big Satan.Gingrich speaks the truth from what is out there. You think he pulls this stuff out of his ass?I am deeply worried myself. When the planes hit on 9/11 most Americans could not understand what was happening.Muslims knew exactly why it happening. Becuase they hate us "infidels"-sick shit. U need to be a complete moron not to see the danger here! Wake up!

  • boy what hole have you had your head in? I'm not evening watching for this stuff and I was convinced before I ever saw this clip that Newt Gingrich is right. Nuke in a suitcase. Do your research It's not safe in this world. Terrible unbelieveabel things can happen in life. I know. Brad A Vietnam Vet

  • This person asks stupid questions because he doesn't know the truth or doesn't want us to know it.

  • Gingrich is absolutely right. Iran is a cancer.

  • Newt Gingrich is right. Those who warned about Hitler were also called sensationalist and fear-mongering. But Hitler turned out worse than anyone thought.

And all attempts to belittle it with stupid writing and music are just that: stupid.

  • Iran sponsors terrorism...the deliberate targeting of innocent civilians for death or injury...as part of their geopolitical tactic. That fact is where all the moral relativists run head on into the shame and folly of their rhetoric. Newt is right, sadly.

  • I fully agree with BigNigg. The muslim extremists don't care if you're black, asian, white, middle-eastern, or any other creed. If you live in America, you are an infidel and should die. That's the way these extremists think. WAKE UP AMERICA, AND SUPPORT THE WAR IN IRAQ UNTIL THE JOB IS FINISHED.

  • Damn Straight. Those people care more about death than we Americans care about life. Sad truth. They are all going straight to Hell. I would love to see the look on the face of a terrorist "martyr" who dies in his terrorist attack & "awakens" expecting to see his beautiful 72 virgin girls (pervert) waiting for him but instead shockingly finds more like 72 demons who will torture him for all of eternity and the smoke from his burning rises forever and ever upwards. Christianity rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The problem with what Newt is saying is that it means we can do whatever the hell we want to Iran simply because their leader's aren't "rational". Thats bullshit. There's plenty of irrational leaders around the world. We go into Iran only when they are an OBVIOUS threat. Until then our "irrational" leaders are just as bad as their "irrational" leaders.

  • Newt has the facts on his side. Whether Acthivewhosijad means the things that he says or not, the point is correct: we can't deal with Iran using traditional rationalist diplomacy.

  • We need traditional smart bombs and phosphorus rounds for these guys.

  • You guys sound so certain, yet all 16 US intelligence agencies agreed that Iran probably is not pursuing a nuclear weapons program. Did you fall for the Iraq nonsense too? At what point do you check your thinking?

  • Zeldowich, where did you get that? I'd like to see the source.

  • @Kurtlane

    news.bbc.co uk/2/hi/7128963.stm

  • @Zeldovich

That article ends with, "And of course there is no guarantee that this report will be any more accurate than the 2005 one. The history of intelligence is signposted by mistakes."

Yes, exactly. And also deliberate misinformation, planted at all levels. The 2005 report was wrong, and I see no reason to trust this one for 2007. After all, what are those enrichment plants in Iran for?

What Newt Gingrich says here makes much more sense to me.

  • @Kurtlane

The difference is the 2007 report was very much in disagreement with Bush administration statements.

  • @Zeldovich,

    So?

Is everything Bush administration said automatically wrong, and everything that disagrees with it automatically right?

Bush's administration, like Clinton's before it and Obama's after it, tried to make nice (improve relations) with Iran. And just like the others, it came to conclusion that this is utterly impossible.

  • @Zeldovich

    watch?v=2VDNupft_oI

  • Even though this poster is pro-Iranian, Newt is again, whether you like him or not, logical. I would hardly classify his statements as "sensationlist," unless you are sympathetic to Iran wiping Israel off the face of the planet.

  • That's the same impression I got - nothing about this clip rang in my mind as sensationalism.

  • In-case you forgot dude, Isreal has about 200-300 nuclear weapons of its own and can defend itself.

  • Building nuclear weapons is a very rational thing for Iran since it is a publicly stated enemy of the US and US has troops in countries surrounding Iran. Iran propably thinks that they might be invaded after things in Iraq get under control. So they do anything they can to buy the time they need until the bomb is ready. US knows this, so they need the war to get started before Iran gets the bomb. For Iran the bomb is the only defence and for US unacceptable threat. Interesting times ahead :)

  • Sensationalist? Bulls--t! It's the truth. Wake up!!

  • Sounds like the truth to me!
