WOW the man makes it LOOK SIMPLE .. haha .. he plays EFFORTLESSLY ,, with a minimalist approch YET STILL be extremely tasteful and technical .. you would be well served by amplification of your guitar .. great job .. 5 stars from me your friend jeff

Thanks, man. I've seen Taylor at work, and the guy does seem to pull it all off, as you said, effortlessly. I would buy a better guitar and other equipment, but my playing is only hobby based, and at my age there's a limit to how much I can allow myself to spend on my hobbies.
