@CeeBear216 You only see them if you do the Richter side quests as you progress in the game. They are optional and easily missed if you don't know about them. I started replaying the whole game when i found out i missed the side quests. I love Richter/Emil!

THIS game already has a canon pairing, and I don't think Emil has a personality disorder. Ratatosk left his body at the end of the game and Emil himself is just timid. I can understand pairing Richter with Aster, or even with Ratatosk himself, but not with Emil.
True, you raise fair points, but throughout most of the game, Emil was the one flustering over, following, and constantly thinking about Richter, while barely at all about Marta except in the "I fear for my life" kind of sense.
Ratatosk, however, seemed to generally care for and want to protect Marta in a romantic sense, and it might be possible that HIS feelings ended up confusing Emil when they fused in the end, but don't think that Emil himself ever thought abut Marta that way.
@Usayasha He sees Richter as a fatherly person and someone good. He finds it hard to believe Richter is on the opposite side and it worries him. There have been moments in wich the "I fear for my life" attitude with Marta have made sense, but 95% of the time thats only in skits. You seem to look at the storyline and Emils attitude in a way I can't, and I'm going to leave it at that. I still don't think this is a game where yaoi should truly be in effect (see next comment)

@Neeshykinz Sidequesting with RIchter starts in chapter 2 when you first reach hakenosia Peak. make sure to enter the house and talk to the guy (Koton) then return in CHapter 4 and you'll see Richter enter the house. after that you are given the option of whetehr you want to talk to Richter or leave him alone. pick the first one and EMil will ditch marta and after a cutscene you're told to go to Asgard.
well there's always some bisexuality on the teenager years, so don't fret, he may end up either gay or straight (the only question is.... will he have to fight with himself again?)

A third of the game being made up of it is not. I'm not saying the two don't go together, It's just that it's far, far beyond an excessive amount of it. I actually think it kind of ruins Marta's character. However, I don't quite see RichterxEmil ever happening, nor am I a fan of yaoi.

Emil felt naturally attracted to Richter ever since they meet.
Marta is a pushy, spoiled preteen who pushed herself into him way too much.
Even if he ended up hooking up with Marta it doesn't mean he didn't love Richter as well.

2.-After entering Izoold go back to Hakonesia, choose to meet with Richter and follow his instructions
3.-After getting the Jellyfish for the seafood gels exit and re-enter Triet
4.-Finally, you'll run into him when you go to Sybak
