  • what's funny is it probably carried the water, hit on the upslope of the front fringe, and stopped at 2 feet.

  • closed face at top!

  • @DCUPtoejuice that's a hallmark of Duval's swing

  • simply he looked up watch his head compared to the others

  • One of the funnier slow motion swing clips on youtube. I love the 300fps on a skip shot. Hilarious.

  • Dude needs some longer shafts

  • his swing was better in '99

  • man that club face sure is shut...

  • @tihannorubato It is shut compared to almost all other golfers, pro or not. But, if you think about the plane on which the club moves back, up and around - the plane more or less through the shoulders to the ball - his clubface stays square to that plane. I'm not saying that's good or bad, better or worse, it's just an observation. Cf. The Plane Truth, by Jim Hardy, who points this out.

  • what a good ball striker

  • @kjackboy1 um, that was totally thinned...

  • @jpsartrean no he was trying to skip it off the water

  • lol bladedddddd

  • like the thinking, keeping it under the wind

  • @thefamiliepak lol he teed it up but skulled it

  • wow that was low,.. i've just strated to employ the shut club face and its improved my game and cut down on miss hits. Impact is definately more solid too, give it a try but dont forget to follow thru, open shoulders and hips or its going left liek a rocket.

  • @sniffy45 it also helps if you jack the club outside the line on the way back, thats what he was doing in 99' which kept the club in front of his body and he could just upwravel through it and flush it to no end, and yes, the shut face helps, I do it with a neutral grip and for some reason, I can play better shutting the clubface than with a square face, probably because I used to be a shut-faced player, but my coach got me away from it

  • Very shut club face on the backswing and downswing. This is one of the best homegrown swings there is today. The man used to be more dominante than Tiger was. Hips and shoulders fly open to level it out

  • The funny thing is I bet he made par. I saw tiger do the same thing in Charlotte. He thinned a 5 iron and looked back at us and said..... no that wasnt a stinger, I bladded it. I would rather hit it thin then chunk it anyday of the week.

  • LOL the pros are human....looks to 'lift' the club at start = thin shot!

  • thin to win! lol

  • ugly ass swing

  • it looked bladed, and it didn't look like a good swing

  • that's a shocker. He looks so shut going back.

  • @itubeutude hes always been that way, watch some other slow mo vids of him, you'll see the same thing

  • @itubeutude always has been. Camera angle could be a factor. I am not sure he is inside enough in the backswing either...camera is a factor on that one FOR SURE but I have seen him swing lately and he seems more outside then falling inside on his downswing. Hands and clubhead inside more going back perhaps with more right hip turn. The only thing I can see as a possibility anyway.

  • It was skip day :)

  • WOW...was THAT mishit...10 feet off the ground most of the way off the teebox...
