  • This is really sad =(

  • whiteman is the dam devil!!!!!!!!!!@

  • Native Americans? Gimme a break. This is an American problem caused mainly by Americans. Transoceanic and Haliburton are both American companies and BP is mostly run by Americans. So Americans are as guilty for this as for Wounded Knee.

  • The FEDS don't even recognize them! Crap, I didn't know this!

Son of a Bitch! Like others? What other tribes don't the feds even recognize! Where in the hell have I been!

Dammit, So now that I know this, I'm on and even more bigger crusade!

Yes, confirmed, the feds want to wipe out the gulf, and sell it to China, to pay back our trillions in debt!!

Dam you feds! Dam you all to hell!

  • There is no such thing as 'Bad Luck' or 'Coincidence'. Its All planned according to their "Agenda's", there is Always a "Reason & Cause". There is yet much more worst to come, if nobody is acting if nothing have happened, then All options are "Genocide & Suicide", the last option is to "Unite & Stand Up" and to do something about it.

  • and thats another million people out of jobs and income! million more creatures dying! thanks bp spill!

  • This is my favorite channel! Thank you for making such wonderful videos!

  • These Luciferians that caused this hate God and nature....Don't expect any help from B.P. or Gov....Your way of life may change along with millions of other Americans...Alaska? That may not be a bad choice. Dress for the weather. God Bless.

  • DRILL BABY DRILL!

  • Where are all of the Indians???

That's where all this derived from, Get It???

We use to have the richest culture, best fishing, hunting, and trees.

What ever happened to being content and taking only what you can use, and leaving more than you take.

    Living simple life :)

Successful people are selfish, until we learn how to live with earth will we ever learn what it means to be alive.

Watch the Earth Song by Michael Jackson, he knew and they killed him :*(

  • @mrdalewilsondw

I think Bobby Jindal is in the Governor's mansion...

  • if this oil gets into the fresh water ect it will poison ....us....

  • MOTHER EARTH IS PUNISHING US FOR THE WRONGS WE ARE DOING TO HER WE HAVE TAKEN TO MUCH FROM THE EARTH AND NOW SHE IS GETTING BACK AT US BECAUSE WE DONT RESPECT THE WAY WE SHOULD THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINING OF DISATERS EVERY WHERE! SAVE MOTHER EARTH SHE FEEDS US AND LETS US LIVE ON HER WE DONT NEED OIL AND COAL TO LIVE WE JUST NEED TO LEARN HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THE LAND AND SHE WILL TAKE CARE OF US.

  • a very sad thing.........ban offshore drilling...

  • This sort of thing is so disturbing, Oh yea we will always have disasters as long as we have men to cause them, whether intentional or not it makes me scream like every one else, i really feel for these people and the wild life, everythings a mess.

  • /watch?v=41DuKJIOjSM see my video with my pictures from my travels and stuff please comment and say if u like it or not :) thx :)

  • it really makes me mad, that we have technology so advanced & they can't fix this stupid oil spill, i bet like they don't even care.. &+ everything is dying too.

  • thanks NG for not censoring this clip in Canada

  • Feel so sorry for those who are affected in these areas as much as the wildlife.

Damn our constant selfish 'want' for Oil & profits.

  • God bless these people

  • @NightforDays

    science bless these people

  • @mamushi72sai5575

I used the term "God bless these people" because the man at the end of the video said, "I love everything God created." He projected that this wildlife he spent his life working with is the creation of his God. I hope they find a place to move to where they can continue working in a natural habitat.

  • @NightforDays I thought so. It just sounded funny to say science instead of god. forgive me.

  • This community is no more... and anyone else who lives off fishing in Louisiana for that matter. No one wants to leave, but they're gonna have to anyway. It's gonna be a dead zone in a matter of months.

  • 11 people didn't like this? wtf? oh well, like it or not, this is devasting to this community and many others.

  • y en lo que puedo difundo la protección del medio ambiente.

  • Las imanes muestran una realidad . Aprendo ,analizo ,

  • And the same folks who bring you the oil spill bring you the "climate change" lie through National Geographic. Aint this a nice deceptive world

  • Every thing God created I LOVE IT....! i am hearing from this guy who is a good man...!

but most of the mericans/westerns ....are quite oppostie...! i suppose...!

  • BP is funder of $10 Trillion carbon tax derivatives Chicago exchange they sit on board of Land conservancy Sierra Club

  • As long as a**holes want to live in ugly, sterile suburbs, drive gas guzzling, ugly SUV's and act like morons we will all pay the price. It''s the fault of all the a**holes who love their cars and want to live in the middle of nowhere.

  • Corporations with greed are destroying our earth ........If they cared they would have waisted millions more to prevent the oil spill.

  • oil companies have been doing this to the third world for decades.

  • lol genocide..what a horribly off topic word.. They probably just want to pilfer money off of BP, they want to be equal to whites, yet they kind of like when we fuck up to find a way to make it sound terrible and so bad

  • @Sharter18 typical white trailer trash

  • @tripleleap haha want a picture of my house?

  • @Sharter189 your trailer? no thanks

  • @tripleleap lol how funny.. Ok go eat some chicken and get back to living off welfare

  • @Sharter189 no thanks, I'll just eat some steak and potatoes and chill at my mansion. You can go grab some mcnuggets and fries from mcdonalds.

  • @tripleleap hahahahaha, yupppp ok i bet your livin it up right now playing xbox on your 9 inch tv =]

  • @Sharter189 I'm more of a wii guy

  • @tripleleap hahaha look at us arguing over this stupid shit =p

  • @Sharter189 ok. your awesome :D

  • Thank you BP for killing these primitive creatures.

  • I support these people, even if they are black and calling themselves Native Americans. Put feathers in your hair and dance around a barbecue, I'll dance with you.

The genocide taking place is against independent minded, freedom loving, Americans. The US Constitution has been suspended and we live in a lawless society of silk tongued politicians.

    1776

    V

  • @aristotlestudent Iam truly offend by your comment whoever you are im from louisana and im atakapa indian. For your information bitch we are not black okay mother fucker read your fuckin history about native americans. We come in many complexions our tribe has been for many years. We built this state this our land dying and the white man is killing our land. Long live atakapa native americans reguardless if we are not federally recognize!!! Native american pride forever learn history bitch!!!

  • @MsThunder9

Ok, so you say this people of "many complexions" is one people? With all of the "bitch" and "motherfucker" talk, I'm sticking with the whole black people calling themselves indian theory.

Yeah, I do know of your "tribe" and your cannibalistic history. You are a multi cultural tribe which does have a lot of African and other races mixed in. That is why you have trouble getting recognition. See?

Call yourselves what you wish, I don't care. This crises didn't happen for you.

  • Don't acknowledge they are Natives, the State would have to respect some old treaty and pay them money. They do not exist, I repeat, they do not exist. They have been deleated from the Matrix, but won't go back to the source, they should have been unplugged out of the matrix a long time ago, but the barial costs, besides mass graves cannot be met to the States standards. Lets see what the oil can do about the Native claims, it looks like a final solution.

  • @Jai666666666 Fuck you to bitch we do exist for many years we built this state this is our land dying do you understand that motherfucker!!! I'm living proof im atakapa indian from lake charles,la and bitch fuckin with wrong one. Don't fuck with us louisana indians we do exist. Our chief Michael amos will gladly tell you

  • What a shame. On BP, not Obama. BPs greed and past administrations are to blame for this. Will THIS finally make the political mavens shake their heads? Doubt it, but one can hope.

  • @artlitmusic obama is bought and paid for! don't fool yourself!

  • lol, these comments are priceless..

  • They do not look like American Indians to me, but they have the right to live without oil spill. Plus oil is creeping in our waters without a spill. All you have to do is look around oil wells. May be in Midland, Texas or in the sand dunes of the Middle East.

  • we shouldn't do what we can't contain.

  • The most disgusting thing about this is that BP will never be made to pay to repair the damage they caused. The number would be so large that anyone trying to fine them properly would be called insane. No one, not even the government, can fine a company $100 million+. It doesn't matter if that's the amount that is actually owed or not, people will hear the number and just think "wow, that sounds so big its crazy" and will reject it. If this bankrupts BP, they should NOT be allowed to reform.

  • Obama = planet killer

  • @ronpaulisacommunist exactly. him and his drill baby drill slogans.....oh wait...

  • @OLDBEATERSIX Oh yeah everything is always someone elses fault but he's the fucking little whiney racist bitch in charge destroying this country on purpose with the help of his KKK Democrap buddies.

  • @ronpaulisacommunist sounds like the usual mindless paranoia of a pissed off uninformed conservative wingnut who isn't getting his way. the fact of the matter is that conservatives have been all for drilling. so obama let them have their way because they wouldnt quit bitchin about offshore drilling and how we need to do it more. remember? does drill baby drill ring any bells? now look what happened. so dont be so quick to say its his fault. and if you wanna blame somebody, blame BP.

  • @OLDBEATERSIX Obama's the one responsible. He even said so himself, remember?

The Dems did it all on purpose and they are dragging their feet on purpose so that they can take full advantage of it. It's what they do.

It's all part of their deliberate destruction of America.

First they destroy America with a wrecking ball. Then they rebuild it as a totalitarian Communist dictatorship.

  • @ronpaulisacommunist Obama is the biggest crook of all time.

  • @OLDBEATERSIX Actually I hate all political parties. I think they're all infected with the disease of socialism and globalism.

  • @ronpaulisacommunist did wat on purpose? bp got every warning they could have gotten. its the same story with that mine disaster. u gotta understand that these corporations dont give a shit until some big shit happens. u are right about one thing though. all political parties are full of shit. they front like they are so pro this and anti that when in reality they are all corporatist crooks and liars. as for obama, he's just somebody thats gonna take the blame for all the crooks around him.

  • @ronpaulisacommunist

Realistically. How is this Obama's fault?

  • @Dennygieck new world order...

  • @ronpaulisacommunist Humans = planet killers

  • @ronpaulisacommunist It's more of Republicans that are at fault since it was rushed under their tenure wasn't it? Either way though, death to BP!

  • ***updatebp.wordpress.co*

  • BP, the poster boy for GREED!

  • This will not be the first or last time the poor native Americans will be dumped on. They are without clout!

  • We need Super Mario to fix the oil spill.

  • So beautiful that area. We got raped. I've only been down in the western side of that area outside of eastern texas and all the way to New orleans. It's sad you have those refineries right there. Same here in cali though. But it's going to take 40 years to clean up 95% of that. But it will never be a hundred percent cleaned up.

  • Great video! very unfortunate chain of events.

I wonder if our streets had oil everywhere?

  • Using the word "genocide" is totally inappropriate and unethical. It's a terrible accident and an enormous disaster, but no one is systematically trying to wipe out a race here. Using those words only cheapens actual genocides, which are the biggest horror and worst crime that humans are able of. This is bad, but it's not genocide. Show some restraint, National Geographic.

  • ''yawns''

  • I'm puzzled. a lot of countries had offered to help cleanup the mess, why din't the U.S. take their helping hands. Also I used to see a lot of BP ads on TV, now there aren't. BP should fix, BP has to justify for destroying environment. Has anyone counted how many animals have died because of this ? Should they be treated differently just because we (also belonging to animals) have a different system of law ? anyways. everyday is a day day until its fixed.

    --ruben from k6yar films

  • one thing you won't see on the bayou is people blameing bp for everything Louisiana

toke a risk and we knew that this could happen one day...we are one of the poorest states so why wouldn't we allow drilling? We have a way of life here that is dieing not only bc of the leak but also because they are shutting down rigs....that's where alot of us work! your not gonna hurt oil companies as much as your gonna hurt the poeple who work for them

  • On earth nobodys care's unless its in their own backyard, im moving to mars fuck you guys.

  • @1983NotSure can i go with you ?

  • All those people should come up here to Canada. We have lots of work up here... in the oil patch.

  • We should put them on filthy reservations like the rest of the "Skunk Nigg@#s".

  • @TheGeorgeBush666 u belong in a filthy sewer.

  • @fathinking IK had geeen flauw idee waar het over ging en zag die rommel liggen en ik dacht aan Sil de standjutter.

  • Thank you for posting , apparently you struck nerve with he guilty bp employees posting on this vid not commenting on the situation just of a word classic mis-direction. They obviously don't live in a gulf state. God less us, we are gonna need it.

  • @SlowRealization

I assume that you are talking about me when you are talking about "guilty bp employees" engaging in "mis-direction"? First off, I assure you that I am not an employee of BP--I'm just a high school kid in illinois who has opinions. If you read other comments, you'll see that I recognize that this is an huge environmental tragedy, but, seeing as I can't really do anything about it beyond donate money or pray, what's wrong with spending my time quibbling over a word for 5 minutes?

  • Werk voor Sil de Strandjutter!

  • I am so sad for the animals. Its not the humns Im worried about because there are humans everywhere although i do feel sad for them, How much more damage do we have to do before people in position of power wake up and put our future ahead of greed. Whats wrong with living off the environment around you like these people? and If you live in a city then invent ways to grow patio veges ...I dont know its just horrible the whole thing. Humans suck

  • Fuck Capitalism

  • @PObserver capitalism didnt cause this ignorant cool aid drinker.

  • @PObserver How did capitalism cause this? Do you know what capitalsim is?

  • @PObserver stupid ass kid you dont know the meaning it to word...

  • @robbiebrainard "you dont know the meaning it to word" -- With some syntax and grammar I could understand you. No, BP and this disaster is a result of capitalism and its evil.

  • @PObserver

BP, the poster boy of "Greedy Capitalism" at its best. Their only concern is money in the path of destroying where other live!

  • Not federally recognized means none of these people got any help during Katrina whatsoever, and look their right there on the fkn shoreline. I heard the only help they got after Katrina was from some good sumeritans in an ice cream truck.

Making the son pay for the sins of the father, way to go shameless America.

  • This shit is so funny. I can't believe that Americans are actually doing anything at all to help. We're usually too busy with our ever so satisfying lives.

  • BP isn't going to clog the leak. they don't wanna stop it because if they stop it they have to leave the oil that is there. 750million in revenue a month is what is keeping them from stopping it. Its gonna keep on goin and goin until the drill a new hole.

  • thats really sad for those people

  • Just so sad.

  • It's really unbelievable that more attention is not being discussed here regarding long term effects of this spill. We all should be worried and try and see how this could throw off many cultures and countries surrounding this area.

  • @hat045

yes everyday and i just read last week that global warming is a hoax

  • Thanks NG for not blocking this clip from Canada

  • genocide is a bit weird to say about this situation

  • @vthilton

have you read the paper lately? Global Warming is a hoax!!

  • @inkblotangel

mmmmmm....... have you read any papers lately

  • Comment removed

  • It's not a good situation for you folk over there of that there is no doubt - BUT for next time the cameras are in town why not have bit of a tidy-up and pick up all your rubbish that's floating in the shallows right outside your front door 1:50 - it's not a good look. It'd take about 10 minutes. Anyway, hope they can keep the slick away. Good luck.

  • Without sharing the natural resources of the world there will be no justice whatever. Without world justice on all issues there will be no world peace ever. Without world peace there will be no world left, nothing. Who will clean up this mess? Humanity will out of its own inherent will to survive step up its effort to do something knowing full well that their own future is fully at stake. Global warming is a fact and no effort should be spared to improve the kingdoms of nature all around us.

  • @vthilton wow that was truly inspiring, no sarcasm intended

  • Militant environmentalists LOVE to use super duper words that emit emotion. The truth is - there are literally hundreds of millions of human beings that need our help NOW. Militant environmentalists deep down don't give a shit about human beings - only interesting wildlife put on earth for OUR benefit.

  • holy shit that nigga traps lol he must be a G.

  • i bet theres a mc donalds there

  • Why would someone want to intentionally wipe out a small community? QQ more, natives

  • Not Eskimos ... Inuits ... Eskimos is derogatory.

  • It's not just the native americans...the cajuns have lived here for hundreds of years also. Our whole culture is now threatened.

  • Fucking end of the world man,

  • These native people should be paid to relocate somewhere else successfully.

  • @Sariel2012

Maybe that's what they want because they're sitting on the mother load of oil reserve under that ole bayou village.

  • @Sariel2012 They're not recognized... since they're in location with natural resources. Funny how nothing has changed.

  • OIL SUCKS!

  • TRAGIC.

  • So sad

  • Wow - Maybe it's time to oh I don't know - Get out of Dodge!

  • This is not "cultural genocide"

Someone needs to check their understanding of vocabulary before they post videos

  • @aswolf The way the live is in jeopardy. The culture consists of fishing. If there is no fish, then their culture is in being threaten.

  • I sympathize. But "cultural genocide" sounds like a lawyer's spin.

  • BP NEEDS to pay big.. Not like Exxon where they were only charged a day's worth of revenue

  • The Gulf Natives way of life was changed long before this oil disaster via Colonialism. If BP/Fed Gov doesn't have the technology to control a possible situation then BP shouldn't be drilling that deep in the 1st place.

  • Our governement is getting to damn big. Like jefferson said the best government is a small one. Kick BP out of the USA. Fuck the Middle Eastern countires, they're not people, just animals. Kill them all and take the oil

  • @brianvelasquez why not just develop canadian oil wells? less war to fight and "animals" to kill much less hassle

  • Yes, because this is definitely on purpose...

  • the lack of action to resolve this oil leak is disgusting. who will take responsibility

  • @whydie666 People have... They've also tried to fix it over 3 times.

  • @mortuusquodvacuus source?

  • i cant believe it takes over A BLOODY MONTH to fix ONE damn oil pipe!

  • @Tazmania1989 Why don't you go do it?

  • @mortuusquodvacuus if your looking for an argument, look elsewhere.

  • Horrible story. Indians suffered a lot under American occupation. And now this tragedy.

  • @Jewishfan you are a idoit

  • @robbiebrainard he is an idiot? please remember your basic grammar rules before you troll someone, its "an idiot" not a idiot

  • DIE BP DIE. ): <!

  • It's just not right, not right at all :'(

  • It's just not right. Not right at all :'(

  • I really don't think most care being called native american or indian, it's more about personal preference. Though I'd think they'd like it if you label them by what tribe and/or nation they're part of.

Cultural genocide or not this spill is anything but a little leak. In the long run it's going to at least affect everyone on the southern seaboard if not the entire country, though knowing on how much BS these people went through for the past three centuries it's hard not to sympathize.

  • thx National Geographic for exposing the truth

  • its all those goddamn greedy oil thugs!! its their fault this happened.....

  • oh, yeah, bp caused the oil spill just to spite the "gulf indians".. *rolls eyes*, national geograpic is getting worse. i am about to stop subscribing to your magazine.

  • @cafekawaii appharently your listening skills arent so great. thats not what they said. its the repercussions of not cleaning up their own damn mess that caused it.

  • living there for centuries is not possible, and was not possible... This sense of irreversable cultural lie , I associate with something spanish....they are native american alright. Crock of crap. I know native american. they don't gather in places that are gonna kill them by floods of nature.

  • 2:09

I can't help thinking about Bubba from Forrest Gump.

    Seriously though, sad story :(

  • I have taught in small lower coast LA. These unique cultures choose this way of life. Didn't you hear her say," we have lived here for centuries." Some choose to stay others choose to leave. Shrimpers and crab fisherman are unique and love their way of life. I now live in KY and it is similar to the farmers here. It is a hard life but they love it. It is criminal the incompetency of BP and how devastating this will be to our coast lands.

  • Dont buy BP or use BP filling stations. Let them clean up this mess with their own money and if they have to go bankrupt then so be it.

  • @mrlukese they brought in 6 billion dollars last quarter. they had plenty of money to clean it up before it got this bad, they just chose to ignore it and see if anyone noticed. i agree, they let it get this bad by making no attempt to clean it up, let them spend their own money and bankrupt themselves if thats what it takes.

  • @PartVIII: Not all American Indians self identify woth the term 'Native Americans'. NG is spot on.

  • Well, its nice to see some native americans living off the land instead of living off welfare and building casinos.

  • @JustinBaker2567 The way i see it they have the right to do whatever they please at the governments expense until they are given back what's theirs.

  • @jirdimaster Well thats the point of indian reservations, to give them back their land so they can become independent and self sufficient again.

  • @JustinBaker2567 Shipping them off to shitty little pockets of real estate? This entire country is theirs, they basically had a perfect society until the British came and "civilized" them, let them do what they please.

  • @jirdimaster Native Americans never had a single society, rather they were organized into many groups, each with its own customs and institutions. Some of them were far from perfect or ideal, let me tell you that much.

  • @GreyErmine Better than American society, when people have only their immediate survival to worry about things like murder, rape, and war get pushed aside.

  • The oil spill happened on april 20th. Of course this is the biggest oil spill, its been neglected. There are lots of ways to clean up an oil spill. Obama must be on vacay in Israel.

  • @Sugarface011 its not a normal oil spill. its a hole in the earth leaking oil

  • @michu070 There are lots of ways to clean up an oil spill. Yet it has all been delayed.
