  • I kinda of have to ask too, what is the difference between downloading a movie and taping it with your VCR/DVD/DVR? I didn't even know this was illegal, it turns out actually it is, but no one cares, if you were watching a movie you taped with a cop, he won't slap the cuffs on you, and cops even do it themselves without consequence.

  • Though, Chris is kinda wrong about the coffee example. You can't copyright food! Well, not the type of food anyway. No one could legally start selling their own big macs, but McDonalds can't stop people from selling and making Hamburgers!

  • I pirated cod 4, because my parents won't let me play it

  • My friends and I are pirates and proud of it. :P

  • Hahaha! (Yay!) We're sailing away (set sail!), Adventure awaits on every shore! We set sail and explore (ya-har!) And run and jump all day (Yay!) We float on our boat (the boat!) Until its time to drop the anchor, Then hang up our coats (aye-aye!) Until we sail again! (girl's voice)Yar, har, fiddle di dee. If you love to sail the sea, You are a pirate! Laaaand ho! Yar har, fiddle di dee, Being a pirate is alright with me! Do what you want ‘cause a pirate is free, You are a pirate!
  • girl's voice)Yar, har, fiddle di dee. If you love to sail the sea, You are a pirate! (spoken)Weigh anchooor! Yar har, fiddle di dee, Being a pirate is alright to be! Do what you want '‘cause a pirate is free, You are a pirate! Arr yarr, ahoy and avast, dinky-dink-dink-a-dinkadefast! Hang the black flag At the end of the mast! You are a pirate!
  • Do what you want, ‘cause a pirate is free, YOU ARE A PIRATE! Yar har, fiddle di dee, Being a pirate is alright to be, Do what you want ‘cause a pirate is free, You are a pirate! (spoken)You are a pirate! (crowd)Yay! We've got us a map, (a map!) To lead us to a hidden box, That's all locked up with locks! (with locks!) And buried deep away! We'll dig up the box, (the box!) We know it's full of precious booty! Burst open the locks! And then we'll say hooray!
  • Fuck off. I'm going to go and pirate things right now. In fact, I AM PIRATING THINGS RIGHT NOW.

  • I honestly think it depends on what you're pirating, and particularly how much it costs. Companies like Adobe are just asking to have their software on every file sharing site at their rates. If companies charge very little for their software then people are far less likely to steal it. And then you gotta consider the fact that if they wouldn't pay for it anyway, then it's technically not a loss to the companies.

  • "If you can't afford the software, don't buy it."

Ummm, how about this we don't all have cash stuck in our asses.

I can't afford to pay Thousands of dollars every year just for software, music, and movies. We need it for more important things like college, food, housing, etc.

Bitch please, you probably pirate gay porn all the time.

  • Shut the fuck up i stopped watching after 1:15 my ass its not fair.

Its "File Sharing" its like making me pay 5x the normal amount for cable tv because i have 5 people in my house.

I can share whatever i want, its perfectly fine and times are changing people don't "live" the same way, its not freaking 1950.

  • lol i just used removewat on my pirated windows 7 so haha pussy

  • "As long as they are going to steal it, we want them to steal ours. They'll get sort of addicted, and then we'll somehow figure out how to collect sometime in the next decade."—Bill Gates

  • Dat evil laugh.....

  • Okay, Piracy =/= Theft. A theft is having your car stolen; the car is no longer in your possession against your will. Piracy would be your car being taken, but the original is left unchanged in your driveway. Also? To respond to your question, if I were a dev, and people were pirating my software, I'd be proud and find a way to capitalize on it. Look at Stardock with Sins of Solar Empire.

  • While I watch this, there's this voice in my head saying "FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT FAGGOT" Should I see a doctor?

  • @Shwaggetyshfifty nope i think that happened to everyone who watched this video in fact i heard fucking gay faggot in my head, odd.

  • >> Snoop Dogg says and I Quote

"Piracy that's what the Internet is for," "It's full of that kind of s**t. I don't get mad at people who take my music."

  • What if you make a free copy of the shitty version of your coffee, then somehow decide it's worth FIVE HUNDRED FUCKING DOLLARS, or more *Cough* Fl Studio *Cough*... People are going to see it isn't worth it and find out how to make their own free copy.

  • The guys in the chat are such n00bs

  • i think it's a lot easier and faster to get a cracked copy than to ask the company for a free copy. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably doesn't have much experience in warez :-D

  • Copying isn't stealing. If i could copy matter and make a mercedes benz. I would. But wait? Could Mercedes sue me for reproducing their car even though no loss or gain came from them? Hmmmmmm.

  • I'm surprised no one qouted the talking heads phrase "flippy-floppy".

  • this guy really needs to move out of his parents basement.

  • The Pirate Bay FTGDW! (For the God damn Win)

  • wait wait wait, the big question is, why are companies producing computers with the proper tools to by offering faster pc's, cd/dvd record-able disc, and burners. if they wanted this to be safe than they shouldn't started this at all. So it's not are fault, it;s the companies fault that started it all so they have someone to blame.

  • "If you like it, buy it, or figure out another way to get ahold of it."

I thought I was already doing that.

  • "If you can't afford the software, don't buy it."

If that's what I should do, then I don't see the harm in pirating software I never would have bought in the first place, like fucking Photoshop CS5. An excellent program, by the way, I suggest you guys try it out.

  • When I was younger I had a copy of Roller Coaster Tycoon. I lost the discs. So I pirated it, and I don't feel guilty at all.

  • @Flaminglog I did that exact same thing. I fucking loved that game.

  • you know who's the pirates here, the guy selling call of duty 15 for 60 dollars + 20$ map packs and 60$ duke nukem forever

I still love gaming, but this is just becoming piracy, i bought call of duty already, im not going to keep buying the same game over and over again for huge amounts of money, and its not just CoD its almost every game and software now

  • Also, I pirated my fair share of shitty xbox 360 games, and let me tell you, I was so thankful that i didnt shell out 65 bucks for those games. That is why i pirate and save my own money. Same goes with movies as well that are mostly shit nowadays. Lets put it this way, I pirate because its there for free, like 20 bucks you find on the sidewalk. Chances are I wouldnt even have bought 90% of the stuff i pirate anyways, so its not like I'm really taking away money from the companies/developers.

  • piracy is amazing, perfect for poor people that cant afford the actual product/program. If you are a college student making minimum wage, and the things you want are available for free instead of hundreds of dollars, naturally you are going to save your money and pirate. It's pretty much common sense, especially since the markup on these products is ridiculous and some aren't even worth a fraction of their actual retail value.

  • Comment removed

  • Developers have actually stated that they would rather you pirate their software than their competitors' software.

  • If u want to give a valid rational answer, riddle me this:

A guy from the East European Country ROMANIA wants to buy an Xbox360 game. The average income in Romania is more than 7 times less then that in the US and also XBOX360 DOES NOT OFFER ONLINE SUPPORT for Romania. In addition if u want to get a pre-order bonus you have a 1% chance to get it.

So, would an American pay over 350$ for a game he couldn't play online and for which he would not get any benefits. I don't think so. YAY PIRACY

  • copying is not theft.

  • Get a better cam -_-

  • BRB going to call microsoft for a copy of windows 7 and office.

  • co,panys like M$

  • I love pirating software and guess what? I'm not going to stop, nor do I care that it's illegal.

  • some software is too expensive(win7)(ps)(office), people rather download it for free> common sense

  • YAR!!!!

  • Moral issues aside, there's the whole problem of malware: If they're smart enough to circumvent the piracy protection measures put on the software by the original vendors, they're also smart enough to gang up with some other Internet baddies, and get paid for including some spyware in the package or the crack for it...

  • @AssemblerGuy Already solved, it's called Magnet Links in relation to Torrents. It scans a file entirely, and creates a completely unique code for that entire group of files or individual file. If you are in a swarm of people, and one person has a different code, they are kicked for faking or manipulating the file. Problem solved.

  • u r right i agree

  • This was in my reccomended list...i must become a pirate?

  • @TheDude5867 Not really. It's the same reason I work on Open Source software.

  • try before you buy

  • dude iff free pirate shit like songs movies softhware nd xtara... was not fare thene kids in some where in africa would not be hungry wtf u pirate a song off some website and couse off that a raper or a comany can no longer afford to buy there woker new freecell phns a raer snger or movie strar can no longer buy him self a new 2.5 mill wth car wtf fuck that we cado s wee want they dnt need more money fuck them why do we have to give them more money... by juan juarez aka dbner

  • Always pirate stuff!

  • ok i have to admit MS office better than open office but not $400 more, the reason people pirate software is because (like my example) proprietary marketers think they have no competition, and for a little more functionality and support they can set prices as high as they please, i don't like to pirate because i have no need to but i completely understand why people do

  • Make the software cheaper so people would be willing to buy it

  • If I copy your cup of coffee you wouldn't say I was Stealing your cup of coffee would you ?

Software should be free, and I am a support of the free , and open source software

movement. Like Linux Mint , and Linux Ubuntu.

  • Let look at it this way paid software is holding back creative people from doing

their best work because the don't have , and can't afford the best software...

All 2D Animation , 3D Animation software should be free, all Music, and Video editing

software should be free... Paid software holds back artist , kills creative , and CRIPPLES

    the Artist of the world...

  • This whole conflict boils down to an underlying debate about intellectual property rights.

  • 139 likes, 137 dislikes...

wow. half the peaple who watch this are pirates, those poor saps...

  • The guy's talking about how it is not fair.... I don't know if he knows that, but is it fair for those big companies that make shit loads of money every day to treat their employees with 7 or 8 dollars an hour? Or is it fair to get a good 50 dollar anti-virus to secure your computer from viruses that they themselves manufacture. A guy named Kaspersky confessed that's true.

  • @4illegalalien THats tru hu!

  • Photoshop CS5 @ Amazon = £601.99

    Working for 1 month at £12.000 p.a. (after tax) = £798.75

Photoshop CS5 (to buy) = around 150 work hours

    Photoshop CS5 (to download) = 30 mins

Conclusion: Suck my balls Mr. Microsoft!

  • @Stazzy Adobe make Photoshop. Microsoft don't.

  • @sillychicken599 yeah i realised i that 1 second after i pressed "ok" :(

    what a dumb mistake!

  • @Stazzy lol :)

Imagine how awful photoshop would be if they did.... :L

  • @sillychicken599

"Are you sure you want to apply pencil to Grid 567:321?"

    .... "ERROR"

    ...CRASH!

  • @Stazzy hahaha :) application photoshop is trying to create a new layer. cancel or allow?

    or if apple made it..

Sorry you cannot create a new layer as it goes against our EULA ;)

  • @sillychicken599 no no no if it was made by apple it would have been this

"unable to load Photoshop becasue your not using iMac. if you are using your iMac then please make sure that your internet connected via iPad on O2. if you are doing that please contact appale from your latest iPhone"

"you are not using photoshop to make a picture of your new iPhone... ERROR!"

  • 3:30 ... Software is intangible sir...

  • Aaaarrrrgggghhhh Matey!!! I will download whatever software I want and if you have a problem with that my parrot will bite your carrot!!!!!!!

  • Wow... just wow......

I prefer doing things my own way.

And one thing to say -- Having over 100,000 subscribers on Youtube and being well known on the internet != any other individual with a failblog.... (not the REAL failblog) So, yea.... no....

  • If I'm interested in a piece of software, I'll pirate it and see how good it is. If it's really good, I'll probably buy it. Unless it's Microsoft.

But eh, I don't really do that as much anymore because now I use Linux.

Also you're just copying software, not stealing it, because you're not removing the original. It doesn't really justify it, but it's good enough for a lot of people.

    Above all, open-source ftw.

  • 8:18 If people were downloading my software, I'd be very happy. That means it has a use and is popular. :D

  • Okay this is what piracy laws are stupid let me break it down to you :

Stealing: Is when you actually go to the company itself and steal the software.

Sharing: When a person actually buys the software, cracks it, creates a keygen for it and then distribute it to the Internet for everyone to use how the hell is it stealing!!?

  • This boys and girls, is what we pirates call a "Tool".

  • I hate people who pirate games. The PC is the best gaming platform there is and pirates are driving the developers away from it.

  • I'm going to rip this vid and seed it on TPB .....oh wait, pirates dont like shit

  • The more copies of a good thing exist, the better it is for mankind. So do a favor for mankind and share your software with someone or make it shareable by cracking.

  • my view on Software Piracy is i do not care it has nothing to do with me.

its on the news ppl whineing about it

  • I rarely buy software, I use open source programs :]

  • As long as it doesn't PHYSICALLY hurt anyone - Do what ya like. Digital piracy RULES! Freedom for all!

  • thepiratebay<3

  • In my opinion, software should be sold to larger corporations or businesses, because the normal everyday people pirating it are not going to make an impact on the company.

I also find it to be bullshit that a company wants to sell a product to regular citizens for 700 bucks (Adobe), when all that person may want to do with it is skin a web page.

All software should have a free version; not enough people know what they're doing with this technical thing. Really depends on what you use it for.

  • What a surprise that he doesnt pirate...

  • Its economics at basics.

  • does anyone else completely loath this puppet?

  • ohh no hes going to copy that floppy

  • it must be easy to preach anti piracy when the software companies are fucking funding your life and sending the shit to you for free. what a crock of bullshit.

  • its not easierto work for 6 hours to afford a exxpensive program

  • was this guy on tech tv?

  • In my country piracy is legal as long as you don't Re-sell the product :D.

  • @zoidbetag what cuntry? australia?

  • @superman83kg Not avalable anymore, law came up 1 week ago. They will pursuit all those who download just as they do with those that re-sell the products...GOD DAMMIT!

  • ESET Smart Security is a very very very good antyvirus, anty spyware and has a very good firewall but all of that comes at a pretty big price. So, I go on their page, download the free trial and them make it a full version by getting a key from not327,net.

    Problem solved.

  • @R4Zy3L Screw ESET and its price and trial my beloveded Free Avira its free for like till forever!

No trial and its great! and free! did i say its was freeeee!!! no charge :)

  • We dont expect you to say anything, you chose to ramble on for over 10 minutes about what everyone knows, and doesnt accept it.

  • the first 10 seconds was so fn amazing

  • Although I would love to use Photoshop, I can't personal afford the huge price, but I choose not to pirate, because of my conscience.

  • @mastersirus1985 ...you are one hell of a pussy then

  • @mastersirus1985 Screw price go for the free gnu software.

Use gimp its like photoshop but damn free :D

  • Lahat ng pagsasamantala ay masama! - Bro. Eli Soriano

  • we have the right free information and evil corporations who are exploiting hard working software developers and treat them like dirt deserve every penny taken from them so like a lame movie once said hack the fuckin planet cause this is the new frontier and its up for who ever seeks it pirate educational software not movies and music dont wast your time with brainwash

  • I have over 1000 pirated apps. Feels good man.

  • lol everyone has the demo but they want the whole version!!! Not some half bit shit bag rather than the shiney gold studded wallet.

  • I can't wait for 3D printers so I can print out some new computers for myself.

  • The car metaphor has always bothered me. If we could download/copy cars, that would "drive" down the price because the car company would just copy the "master car". No pun intended.

  • What about the duplication issue! It's different from your car analogy because you can clone it.

  • Chris Pirillo you're such a faggot.

  • I am a software developer and I support piracy. It's criminal that only a small percentage of the profit goes to developers when developers are the ones who do 99% of the work.

If you have the opportunity to get pirated software, DO IT, but donate some $ directly to us because the ones that actually made it. We have worked hard through school to be were why are. I think we deserve it. Besides the rich executives from MS already have tons of cash,it wont hurt them.

  • heres a good way to slow down software piracy: Ask a fair price ! If they sell photoshop as example for like $20 then they also earn more money because more people will buy it instead of selling it for $900

  • 80% of the software in my computer is freeware...

You dont need to pirate software. I dont know why people dont like to use freeware software even if it is better than comercial software..

  • if only you could pirate hardware aswell...

  • i just freaking got winzip 14.5, ace utilities, tune-up 2010, auslogics boostspeed, switch sound converter, glary utilities, counter strike source, half life 1 2 ep 1 and ep 2, portal, winutilities, and fucking 9000 other games and i rule. dont forget the pr0n and anime pr0n and music. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

  • thousands of people download free songs and the man has never arrested any single one. -_- i rest my case

  • ya har fiddle dee dee

you fucking so and go suck are your niece

    i am a pirate

DONT LET THE MAN TAKE DOWN PIRATEBAY!!!

isohunt and mininova have been taken down by the man.

    don't let piratebay die!

  • i pirated photoshop I AM NOT PAYING 600 BUCKS FOR SOFTWARE

linus was right software should be free

  • @hailTHEfail Well software can not be free, we (developers) need to make a living.

  • @mcline007

    ever heard of donations

thats how linus toravalds makes a living

or maybe do something out side of the os

host game servers thats how he also makes money

or make book of how to use it

  • Yeh Piracy is bad... Right!!! Do you think its fair that if you buy a game, music cd, dvd movie for alot of money then come to find out it is complete garbage and you spent 20-60 bucks who is getting pirated here? Pirating actually helps artists etc. If they are really good people will buy their product even if they have already d/led it...

  • Fuck copyright

  • exchange for promotion?so if i download a program, use it, then go around telling people it's great then it's ok?

  • Internet Pirate for life

  • dont attack the pirates attack the ones who make it available.

  • internet piracy isn't illegal, think of it this way, people say "its like stealing a car" no it isn't, if there selling it over internet, it doesn't cost them anything to create it.there not paying for Cd's and burning them, there uploading them for no cost, so really anything you download via internet is not illegal, unless you sell it. and why are music company's complaining? its making the artist famous and more people eventually will go to there concerts.

  • I think piracy is ok.Its only when your dumb and start making illegal copies and then selling that illegal copy for low prices and making somewhat of a business. THATS WHEN THEY CATCH YOU.Other than that if you just pirate cause you cant pay for it but your not going to go make a business illegally then yeah your good to go. The FBI doesn't catch people like that hell they dont even look for people with illegal business sometimes. But most of the time they will catch you and you get screwed over

  • What an idiot!

Leaving a Ferarri unlocked with the windows rolled down and the key in the ignition in an empty parking lot CREATES car thieves!

Like Putting your software on the internet creates "Pirates"

If you don't want us to diseminate your software, KEEP IT OFF THE NETWORKS!

Sell it directly to the end user and Mail it to them with a unique serial number for tracking purposes.

Putting artwork, videos and music on a public network means you are GIVING IT AWAY!

    Your rights are zero now!

  • I want open source automobiles. I want them now.

  • I love piracy

  • some companies offer free software for students

  • this is why i have netflicks :3

  • companies are not greedy but people who steals software

  • Yeah, downloading hardware would be awesome.

Chris: You are under the assumption that the pirates would be paying for it normally. Them using the software for free is the same net loss for the devs as if they simply didnt buy it, but its actually a gain for the devs, since the pirates are exposing the dev's software to people who may actually have the money to pay for it.

  • @guitarmaster199 Actually, eventually be will be able to do that too. Have you seen those three dimensional printers? What will they do when you can print your own hardware? Ban the materials?

  • Companies are greedy, even with lot piracy they still make a huge profit.

What they want is clear profit, example without piracy maybe they should made profit 10 millions but with piracy they made it only 5 millions. Bloody greedy fuckers they are not even happy with 5 millions.

How about they donate some money to the poor people who doesnt even have a bread for breakfast? I know we ask too much, but they don't ask too much? I'll make sure burn every possible software.

  • I just wish i could download hardware.

  • @skyscraper83 well then it would be software... software eg. OS X hardware eg. MacBook pro.... but good theory

  • @skyscraper83 LOL

  • Steal this video!

  • slaterking1000 your an idiot. Go ahead and waste money. Pirate is the easiest way to get software dont let this douche try to make this a moral issue

  • i'm against proprietary software. i'm a supporter of free software. i follow richard stallman's views on software.

  • NEVER BUY SOFTWARE..you'll just be funding software companies to lobby for new ridiculous laws that will take your freedom away. some of the comparisons are very flawed.. I wouldn't steal a car, but if i could make a copy of one for myself i would.

  • @dudabar2 lol me too

  • @dudabar2 Thats a great idea but think about it and put yourself in the other side! Lets say you make a new "2012 Ford Mustang" this invention took you about 5 yrs to complete and you are desperate for sm cash but you find out that others are making money with your idea for free! now i might sound like an ass to you but just think about it! But like i said GREAT idea!

  • @Jmpapi151 As technology and our ability to copy improves, so must business models adapt. Instead of whining about your great idea being copied, and trying to change laws to keep a once working but now failing business model in place, one will have to adapt. Also, maybe it's just me but i find people place way too much value on the idea. Truth is good ideas are dime a dozen, it's the implementation and how you get money out of it that really counts, if you don't have that don't whine.

  • @dudabar2 I was not whining about it! I was just saying! You can do what ever you want to do with your computer i don't give a dogs ass about what you do!

  • @dudabar2 LOL, the ONLY resion those laws exist is because of PIRATES. IF THERE WERE NO PIRATES, THERE WOULD BE NO LAWS AGAINST IT.

  • @dudabar2 u right .....u awsem.....we think the same...i love free stuff

  • You pirate! You criminal. You copied it and even changed it to grayscale. You must be punished for your freedom to use a copying machine.

  • Just a little food for thought here. The movie "the hangover" was apparently the top selling of 2009 and made millions of dollars. Which also happens to be the top pirated movie of 2009. Kinda funny how when people like something they buy it.

  • Piracy isn't stealing

    It just isn't

You can talk all you want. a person who pirates isn't "taking' or "depriving" anything from anyone.

If its on the net its public domain, and you are all going under the assumption that the person pirating would have bought the product in the first place.

  • You cannot stop software sharing

the nature of ANY information is for it to be shared.

the nature of man is to share information you have.

    It cannot be stopped.

  • I used to be a pirate, but then i saw my ways, this video changed me, i have no pirate software any more all my software is fully paided, and i feel better about it. I may be £165 more broke after buying windows 7, but I am confident i have a genuine version. I hope this video changed some of you.

  • stupidity

only way to stop piracy is to lower the price of everything so it's worth buying

Spotify and Voddler is the future

  • @karamelkungen92 may I just say I'm jealous with envy since Spotify isn't available in the U.S.!

  • I do make programs and it's free. I also have somebody copying my stuff without permission but I don't care that much however my concern is they are using it to brake people's computers and making it into torjan viruses.

  • so many people pirate its allmost inpossible not to accedentally i mean i accedentaly downloaded Window 7 and Burned it and installed it and patched it and cracked it... and im on it as we speak ... but its not about that once you have a taste of that wonderfull thing called FREE it makes you on a cruise to achieve everything you want FOR FREE! But its very rare to get caught :) So i recommend dont start i Quited formated my hardrive im chaning my IP Address after this etc.. And be a pure legal

  • So, are you saying that massive crime has no effect? That millions of people stealing from you and not paying does not have any effect? Of course profit is exceeded by costs if people steal the product. For the new film Robin Hood, workers spent a year constructing the sets. If one person buys the movie for a few bucks and distributes it to millions of people, do you actually think no damage is done?

  • Piracy is not sharing. It is anti-sharing. It costs tens of millions of dollars to create a new game. The reason we can buy games at a tiny fraction of the cost is that we share in the cost. We get to use something that costs tens of millions for a relatively tiny amount. That's sharing. Pirates refuse to share in the development costs of products. They leech off of workers and honest consumers. They seem to feel they were born entitled to the free labor of others.

  • i hate to tell you this but: that is not how it works. Businesses are in it to make a profit, that is to exceed the costs they invested in the project. If the fail to exceed or even the production costs then they made a bad business decision. It has very little or even anything to do with sharing

  • @markxq I haven't finished reading the comments but I think we've heard that enough already, broken record.

  • Pirates do not steal, they share what they have.

Get the comments in the right context please and we can have something constructive out of all this?

  • Yes, I know that pirates don't care about workers or rights. They just want free stuff. We are not your slaves. We have rights too.

  • Producers make money no matter what. Workers lose their jobs. Anyone that believes crime on a massive level harms no one is in denial.

  • okay then since this is clearly going nowhere,

just go on think whatever you want, I don't care anyway.

  • It is a sick lie that pirate steal from rich people. They steal from millions of average workers. They have no concept in the rights of workers.

  • umm no since the average worker get their money from the contracts anyway even if sales went bad. its the producers that looses money

  • Pirates steal tens of billions from millions of workers. It is an "awesome" violation of the rights of workers.

  • no its a violation to rich corrupt people at the top who get the money anyway

  • So, I guess car theft means cars are too expensive.

And if you want blank CDs, go buy them. What does that have to do with CDs that have content? That's like saying a blank canvas has the same value as the Mona Lisa.

As for radio, radio stations pay royalties when they play songs. It is completely different.

    And CDs don't cost $20.

  • Pirating software or music or anything else for that matter is a very strong message of you are charging to much for mediocre product. thats why when you could buy blank CD's for 20 cents and yet commercial music CD's cost 20 bucks everyone was downloading from napster because no one wanted to pay 20 bucks for a couple of songs. when they started selling songs for a dollar piracy dropped. its wrong to download a song on a pc, but its ok to hear it on a radio for free? wtf?

  • DON'T COPY THAT FLOPPY

  • sharing is caring

  • Sharing is caring. Piracy is stealing.

  • no, piracy is awesome.
