  • it was really halp me in stand first time

  • that is a kiteboard and that is the bar for kiteboarding... for wakeboarding its a handle and its much smaller... that comes from a single line... but maybe the idea of how to do water start is not that bad..

  • That guys is talking out of his ass.! That's a kiteboard for a start, and it's the handle not the bar you douche.

  • that looked more like a scurf board wake boards have more like boots for your feet.

  • Dang this is old school

  • so question. For my first time wakeboarding what do i need? Cause i dont want to go spend hundreds of dollars buying a wakeboard and boost and bindings when i havent even learned how to do it yet. So can i just use my boyfriends stuff? Or is the size of everything going to throw me off?

  • im pretty sure you wakeboard with bindings not with flip flops screwed to your board

  • is that a kite board?

  • @StArFoX888DraGoN

    Yup. Thats a kiteboard.

  • once u buolt a wall of water on the board n start to plow n get up turn the board like ur dropin in~

  • Just relax and see how it flows :)

    It suited me fine ;)

  • I just started wakeboarding this summer and i got up on the first try and stayed up for like 5 seconds.

  • just stay in the water as long as possible the first few tries are always the hardest :P:P

    i had that problem too

  • he only said w twice

  • if you just wait the boat will pull you up. But you also have to get in a ball

  • when your trying to get up the boat will just pull you up. ty to len back and while your in the water waiting for the boat to pull youup ifyou point your toes bnd yourknees and hole the rpe in between your knees andclose to your chest and hips you'll find it ALO easier :)

  • ok first off who has a wakeboard with a freakin handle seriously! so your ready to go you have your feet in the bindings and the rope in your hands, sitting in the water the board floats on its own.make sure your knees are bent and the rope is in between both of your knees when you feel tension in the rope lean back pull the rope to your hips the boat really does all the work when you get up just twist your hips it kinda just comes natural.its not hard just keep trying.

  • the bindings arnt boot bindings there foot bindings

  • will thats beter then the last video i saw yes bend your knes and keep your chest up no fight it i can only start in the water tho idk if you talking about a dack start or goffy start but im told by gorden harrison (about to be pro) to bend my knes and keep you chest up (sorry for spelling only 10...)

  • dude your binding whats up wit that brah

  • whats up with his bra?

  • Dude i tried this technique today IT FUCKING SUCKS, YOU EITHER GET YOUR BODY PULLED FORWARD OR YOU DONT GET UP AT ALL

  • I second that... This video is a waste of time..

  • The bindings, the board, and the handle are actually for kiteboarding. Technique is fine though, don't need to worry about turning too early though, wait till you get up to speed. 18-22MPH is the normal range.

  • yea. like i said in my coment bend your knes and keep your chest up trust me yea im only 10 bu ive been taght by 2 pros!!!

  • well do u keep the board out of the water or do u put it under and when i try to get up my board goes under water and it snatches the rope because all the pressure

  • keep the top by the toes out like 3 inches at a angle 15degree when u start with knees by chest///// when u start to get up squat up in drop in like on a sk8

  • a lil late dude im up and jumping now lol doing tricks

  • wtf is up with the binding

  • Nothing, its so you (the rider) can take your feet out and do proper tricks!!

  • how fast does the boat need 2 b ?

  • 5-10 mph (wat ive been told)

  • 5-10 is wayyy to slow you wont even be able 2 get up

  • lol

  • You should start off pretty fast around 15-20 MPH and when up go at 25 MPH. It's what works for me!! wake boarding rocks.

  • man it really depends i have been riding for 4 yrs now and i ride ae 18 MPH you really gotta find a comfortable speed

  • Thats totally true, its different for everyone, i just like goin faster!!

  • if u didnt have a lifejacket on and u had a wakeboard on

    would u sink?

  • you would probably just get stuck under the board upside down and get stuck underneath the water andnot be able to get back to the surface, on account of the board itself floats though.

  • i fing it easiest to hold ur arms straight and bend your knees and lean back ALOT

  • dude twist ur hip and ull be thrown off just let the boat bring u up duh..

  • shit video.

not clear info. i can see how it's kinda right, but not explained very well at all.
