This coexist thing is jaw dropping. It is a movement to bring the world into one religion. Even athiest will be forced to take part in it. But those with deep faith in their God will never join in. Because it will be dishonoring their God. No true Christian will ever agree to putting faith in Jesus Christ in a catagory of any other false Gods.

Our approach is to say that we can coexist not by pretending to agree or even by pretending to like each other, but by simply respecting each other's basic humanity and civil rights. Hate me, love me, whatever, just don't do me harm and we'll coexist fine.

It was good material. On the other hand, I think I've had it up to here with tolerance. With theists, they have a sense of entitlement, which means if you give a little, they take more. It's a vicious cycle that has brought us back to we are in our political and social climate in the USA. I do not condone the tolerance of willful ignorance, nor do I compromise with sanity.

The point of the tour is that you don't have to think that they're rational or right or part right or anything else to appreciate that all people who are willing to work for peace and not impose on the rights of others can get along.

Everyone on this tour supports a live and let live philosophy that embraces free speech and freedom of religion. That is how we coexist.

Yes, these few people are willing to work for peace. However you would be ill-advised to believe that the live and let live philosophy is at all common among any theistic denomination. It is strongly held in each of their respective books that they are the chosen people, and the rest are doomed animals. They will do all in their power to impose their twisted belief system on our government. So to answer your question, yes. I say we can not be friends, because their religion says so.

So when a theist is warm and friendly to me I will tell them, Sorry, your behavior is inconsistent with the book you profess to believe in so I can't be friends with you.

And we become just another part of the problem.

I won't divide the world up into theists and non-theist. I see two kinds of people, peaceful and non-peaceful. If you're peaceful you're okay with me and there's a good chance we can be friends. And peaceful means in relations to all forms of violence; exploitation, hate, etc.
