This was the "walk up" (slight pun intended) to a match that Funk had with Rhodes, It demonstrated to FCW fans how the match worked and a warning to Rhodes what wiould happen. it was Florida's answer to the Memphis angle where Funk wrestled with Lawler. The premise is that the empty arena would neutralize the fans giving Rhodes/Lawler an edge.
@yardlet6 Even somewhat smart fans back in the day might have been convinced it was all real after seeing Funk beat the stuffing out of the man. Funk was putting his all into it.
