  • Hi, what is this music called?..awesome video!

  • Nimrod by edward elgar its played every year at the remembrance service in London that the Queen attends

  • Très émouvant !

  • When you go home, tell them of us

    And say

That for your tomorrow, we gave our today

No words can adequately describe the sacrifice of men and women we honour today.

Not for fame or reward, not for place or rank

Not lured by ambition or goaded by necessity

But in simple obedience to duty as they understood it

These men suffered all, sacrificed all, dared all and died

  • Thank you any family that have sacrificed a member of ..for me and mine xxx RIP x The armed services rock!!!

  • great video, I never served for reasons I'd not like to go into but I take my two sons to my local remembrance day parade every year, so they will remember the sacrifices made for their freedom. a very moving piece of music too

  • Your Remembrance Day is like our Veterans Day. It's sad that this day is being forgotten by our Country. God bless the Brits!

  • every year on the sunday closest to the 11th nov, every city, town and many small villages hope a parade and a service, in recent times a 2 min silence is also held on the 11th its self at 11am in shops, offices, train stations where even the trains are delayed so the drivers can stop and remember, this 2 min silence on the 11th isn't offical some major shops started doing it and others joined in

  • god bless you & the USA. thanks for your kind comment, I know one or two people in your country & I think you are wonderful people & cant wait to visit your country next year

  • Being a veteran, but one who did not sacrifice my life for my country, I'm accutely aware of those who died and those who lost loved ones. I KNOW I'm lucky and contrast that with those who weren't as fortunate. I cannot forget those who bear permanent disability either. Thanks for the illustration.

  • dave you may not have died for this country, but thank you for fighting for it, i am joining the army in summer 07, and will never forget those who came before, thank you for everything you have done for this country

  • God bless the Brits!

  • Lovely, Mark. Your Remembrance Day is kin to our Veteran's Day? I love the poppies, and the pomp, and the regimented lines. Excellent music choice as well. Did I see your shadow in that one pic in the square?
