I understand what your saying but you still have to remember Jason Campbell was ranked 13th in the league in overall rating and has improved over the years a lot. So, if we get a new QB that is fine but Campbell is more than capable to be a starting QB in the NFL.

if you look at Campbell's career QB rating...every year his rating has gone up. So far this year? 86.1 rating, which is a 2% improvement from last year. So let's see, if they hold on to him for 3 more years, were talking a QB with a 90 something rating? He's worth hanging on to, nobody else is going to be coming after him this year. Did you actually watch theRedskins games last season? 6-2: Campbell gets sacked 8 times with no interceptions. 2-6: Jason Campbell get sacked 21 times with more than 5 inteceptions. How can the man have a break out seaon with yet another offense to learn and crapy o-line play from an aging o-line? Joe Montana couldn't have done any better. When your running game is shot because of poor line play, the pass protection breaks down, and your only real threat out on the edge is in double coverage cuz no one else is stepping up (Thomas and Kelly) it's kinda hard to excel... it's not that this team doesn't have a QB, it's that the QB doesn't have any help.

It's a contract year and I can't see why Jason doesn't explode this year, Dockery should help but that right side of the line still makes me cringe...
