An get all the customisation that an android could get:)) and it only takes like 2 mins to jailbreak your phone. A jailbroken iPhone can do anything an Android phone can do. It just depends on whether you like a really choppy and terrible interface, or a nice, smooth UI.

@The0chabo, yes, it can get a bit religious, 'round these parts. :D I have friends who prefer iPhones for good reasons, and I prefer Android for the extra freedom in areas I require. We get along fine. No one has any reason to be upset. All this technology is awesome, yet few people seem happy, even though they have exactly what they want. My main beef with Apple is the lawsuits. I think there's plenty of room for everyone's cool gadget in the marketplace.

Thanks for the info, though I don't want *any* special software just to transfer things from a computer to my phone (or vice versa)... for example, if I want to transfer a gig of video and photos from my Android phone, I can plug it into ANY computer with a USB port, and tap the "Disk Drive" button. I don't have to install anything, and can transfer anything I like. :) I also like that I don't have to "break" my phone to use it. Don't even need to "root" it! It just works! :D

i am a new Iphone user, i had an Android device before i've switched to Iphone, both are really capable devices, it's all comes down to preferences, however Android has still same laggy issues but i'm sure that will be solved in time, the iOS is more stable and efficient but lacks customization. So to begin with, i had an iPhone 3G, i took much care of it, then one day i was out walking, & it just restarted and NEVER booted all the way up again. So FF ►► today is Monday, 10/9/2011 and i bought the new LG Esteem Last Friday, an android phone, and i like it better than apple. The End. #TeamAndroid

He convinced computer illiterate morons that his products were worth their weight in gold and then he charged them three times the market right up for the hardware and software. You can never upgrade mac products he makes you buy another computer instead of just adding more memory or upgrading the processor. Using proprietary screws so people can't open them up and customize their mac to their heart's content. $1400 for a mac that's insane.

They charge you $1400 for a mac that has mid market hardware. While a top of the line Windows computer can cost around only $900. Meaning they are charging you more than top of the line products for mid market hardware!!!
Macbooks have cheap outdated ibm cpu chips and don't give you the ability to upgrade so they charge you constantly $1400 everytime one breaks.

i am a new Iphone user, i had an Android device before i've switched to Iphone, both are really capable devices, it's all comes down to preferences, however Android has still same laggy issues but i'm sure that will be solved in time, the iOS is more stable and efficient but lacks customization. I don't see why it's so much debate regarding Apple Iphone and Android based phones, each of them are different and has their advantages.

I tried sending a photo from MY iPhone 4G to a HTC, the HTC gets the MMS, BUT cant download it, so i E-mail it to the HTC, still cant download it, so i thought "Hmm, maybe its my iPhone being stupid", so i send an MMS from the HTC to the iPhone, AND IT WORKED! I downloaded the picture, so how is it that the "better phone" cant even download a picture of the Big Ben??!!!

They are both good in their own ways.
Android, with freedom to brick your phone, faster browser and widgets.
Apple, with safety, more app availability, best display, stability, speed.
It is not about winners. Seriously. They are both good.

Think of a Kindle screen. It's a bit like that.
