Yeah mate, from a foreign soldier to an American soldier: it is a privilege to serve alongside American forces. So many of our brethren die, but in the minds of fellow soldiers, they live on. Gone too soon but never forgotten.

This is a beautiful video. My brother Chris Duffy was also killed in Iraq on june 4. but in 2004. Its a hurt that will never heal.. my heart goes out to you.
I was a friend of Shanes. He was a great man. Never argued or bitched about anything. I miss him, emard, and legg. Those guys were real close to me. They lived in the CHU accross from me and we had some good times together. I couldnt believe it when it happened. I still were a bracelet with his name on it. I want to thank you guys for this tribute.
My heart continues to go out to the Duffy family and I thank you so much for his life and service to our country. I was a childhood friend of Sgt. Cody Legg and was heartbroken to hear of three precious lives lost in combat, including Shane's. This is a beautiful tribute. Thank you for posting. I am sorry for your loss. Bless you guys.
We should all be grateful for heroes like Shane. God Bless our countries finest!...I was at the parade for Shane's funeral procession and my daughter asked what this was for, I told her that a good man had died for our freedom.
This touched my heart and I just had to write and say that this fellow Red Sox fan is so grateful for these very special soldiers who lost their lives to keep us all safe. I pray you and your daughter and families are able to find some peace. And somehow some relief to the ache in your heart's. I am praying for you all.

i still cry everytime i see this. he didn't deserve to die there was no point for it. its just heartbreaking. this is a beautiful tribute for him.
