This is good for a laugh! I've got Thumbjam as well which I highly recommend. Is there anyway you can import loops into this as well as recording through the mic?
It should work fine - I've had it working on an iPod touch.
PS: I've heard that if you unplug the mic whilst the program is running it might work unreliably, but all you have to do is close the app and open it again - sampletoy automatically remembers all of your settings on the next launch
