I am interested to know if anyone who is commenting on these videos has actually worked out the story behind them. I worked on both of these videos and would like to hear your thoughts on what is being told....I have read a few of the comments and no one has come close so far.

I bet the director had at least read the book series of Dexter, nothing is that much of a coincidence. YES people, dexter is based on a series of books by Jeff Lindsay, Tinseltown doesn't get that original all on its little lonesome.

hi. i am the director of the video. i just created my first youtube profile so i could respond to you. dexter had not yet screened in australia when this video was conceived and created. you can imagine i was pretty bummed when a few weeks after it was finished, glad wrapping turned up on TV on dexter. the timing coincidence was pretty dang annoying for me. i still haven't seen dexter except for the trailer on youtube. looks pretty cool.

In that case, Welcome to youtube! It is unfortunate that Dexter turned up wheni it did for you, but thats always the way isnt it!? If you didnt get this idea from Dexter than you have the kind of Morbid Twistedness that I can appreciate, and it is amazingly directed. A triumph no matter how bad the timing is. Dexter is fairly commercial, really not worth watching if you can read the books...

thanks so much for saying that. it was an intense shoot, i can assure you. the guys were amazing to work with - it must've been pretty scary for justin to be wrapped up like that but he didn't compain once! i reckon everyone thought i was a bit morbid and twisted for coming up with the concept....but i was really just trying to best service the ideas at the heart of the songs. i plan to check out dexter one of these days, but am currently engrossed in the wire and weeds....
