gotta use urs runic power man, use runestrike/deathcoil while everything else is on CD to get more agro and do some damage because so far you are just wasting lots and lots of useful resource

Im having serious problems with my dk tank, i take way too much damage even with cooldowns permanently on with rotations and im wondering is this for every1 or am i just fucked?? cause my gear is pretty decent and im not missing thing anything big

i dont know why but i cant keep aggro when i try to tank on my DK. the AOE is the hardest part to keep aggro on. i try to use all my AOE spells but it dosnt seems to work and in raids i just gets kicked becouse of not holding aggro

I think there is a huge difference in a boss fight requiring AoE and being able to AoE pull entire heroic instances. The important question is whether or not you could lolAoE your way to the boss?

@Drummerkid10000 ohh the little golden head with "4", is Blizzard's built-in buff consolidator, so if I mouse-over, it would show I have four buffs like horn of winter, thorns, etc.

just a question. u said 12k rt + 5k ds.... they nerfed dk or what? im a 6k gs tank and my ds hits for 7-8k dk. and how u see aoe agro for us dk at this state of beta?? seen some pala vid where they are rockin no matter what, how do u see us?

@senpai87 Not able to say for sure yet. DS heals for 17.5% of max health in beta. Best to visit pwnwear for detailed opinions.

@DroodboyDah1 I've got 63K unbuffed now at L83, and am wearing mostly Cataclysm green/blues. That's my tanky gear. There are no L85s at this stage in beta, the cap is L83.

I heard that DK rune system changed into 1 blood 1 frost 1 unholy but with faster regeneration rate, it hasn't been implement?

@hendrysss look for my video on how the rune system works. There are still six runes. Each pair (blood pair, for example) charge up sequentially, one at a time. Not in parallel like now.

@bluAstrid: no, because tank presence in Cataclysm is blood presence.

why are they jacking up AoE for DK Tanks so much... I mean less DnD Dmg and DoTs From Pestilence is 50%... also with the new rune system how can we make that "snap" aggro with runes that take forever to come off CD....I mean its hard enough for a DK to pick new spawns up when ERW is on CD and U dont have the runes to grab the new adds or w/e .... they need to make a deep talent the helps our AoE cause Im going to be ANNOYED! if I have to reroll another Tank class

@leetjag Its beta, things will get better, besides they still aren't worse than warriors at aoe tanking....

@leetjag yeah, try tanking on a warrior...superhard considering our majority of aoe threat comes from thunderclap...which blows. i read somewhere though they are thinking about redesigning it, woot :)
