Emotional infidelity HURTS. From what I've seen, it often leads 2 physical cheating if it continues (maybe more so if the cheater is male?) It hurts so much b/c the 'special' connection that you & your mate had together, the sweetness your relationship was based on, has been given away 2 someone else. U may feel that it's gone 4ever. It feels like a death & is hard 2 recover from but you can. The relationship won't be the same or as innocent as it was, but it can actually be stronger than b4.
