  • where is mongolian ??

  • Who ever made this video did not do research. Clearly most of the one posted for Thailand are actually Cambodian culture and costume. Why did you mix them? especially the one from Apsara dancers. No wonder the new Asian generation claim stuff to be theirs because of ignorant video like this. Plus this is not even all the Asian culture.

  • Love India custom

  • VIETNAM ?

  • @nottykhunnie Foreign people done this,he/she thought this music would fit for our traditional but didn't.

@aa3gunner Asian Technology grown up after the Europian one.

  • Where's "Ao Dai" ?

  • I like all of them. The Philippines national costume is unique for an Asian country. But I think my favorite is the Chinese NC

  • uhmm ewan ko lang ..

pero bak8 sinasabi niung pang8 ung pure Filipinos,

eh bak8 may pure Filipino ba kc ?

i think wala kc look at our location, we are too open ..

i mean any country might have had trade with us and mixed with our race ...

i mean duh, sa place nga namn(Luzon ) kaparehas ng ibang words na nasa Indonesia ...

mind you , we were never conquered by the Spaniards, how much more ung iba ...

  • Sana prehispanic music and costume ang pinakita. yung walang bahid ng west. :[ sigh

  • Dapat isama rin ang costume ni Darna para kabog.

  • the sound is very asian

  • 7:04, 7:07 are NOT Thai. It's Cambodian. It's a traditional outfit for the dance Robam Apsara. Youtube it.

  • Why show this video only woman clothes?...

  • if the spanish was not colonized philippines what national clothe will be

  • @msjenniferization If the spanish did not colonize the Philippines, filippinos would be butt naked running around in the jungle. I don't know why filipinos keep making ''Asian Traditional Dress'' videos and try to associate themselves with the asian culture. Filipinos' culture and traditional dress is nothing but a white man's culture and dress.

  • @Sunnyday3005 then how come before the spaniards came we where already wearing clothes im just saying and plus ofcourse the dress would be more westrn philippine was under spanish people for 300 fuckin years what do you expect kungfu temples budism? im not hatin other asian like china cuz i have a chinese friend and he sim to doesnt a big deal about our histry and our cultre cuz he understnd tht we had been colonize by spanish people and our cultre would be so differrent than other asian country

  • @Sunnyday3005 Your opinion is contrary to what Spanish historians say that when they came to the Philippines, they found out that Filipinos were highly civilized, with sophisticated clothing and wearing gold accessories, and the literacy rate was high. What do you think prompted the Spaniards to colonize the Philippines? Because of the naked butts? No. They colonized the Philippines because they saw its people's excellent craftsmanship and that the people were highly profitable trading partners.

  • @Sunnyday3005 i'm glad that you won't regard Philippines as an Asian country. I am of Spanish-Italian decent my ancestors settled in The Philippines late 1800s therefore we consider ourselves Filipino's... i'm proud that The Philippines is too European and American in culture because honestly i don't want to associate myself with the rest of The Philippines' asian neighbors we're too good looking, classy and elegant to be labelled as asians.

  • @LoveOlderWomen LOL! The only good looking filipinos are the one that's mixed with other asian or european. The real filipinos are dark and ugly.

  • @Sunnyday3005 the only ugly people in the philippines are chinese, koreans, japanese immigrants.

  • @LoveOlderWomen agree.

  • #1.China Because of the girls..

    #2.korea

#3.Philipines beacause very western...the only asian have a western style maybe

    #4.India

    #5.thailand..

  • They are all beautiful.

  • ano bang title?? sa pag kaka basa ko kasi NATIONAL COSTUMES hnd nmn TRADITIONAL ang nkalagy db?? that's the reason why filipiniana and baro't saya was posted there...

  • Chinese Hanfu is the BEST. The rest were heavily influenced by Hanfu.

  • @q1w2e381048104 ,If you look deep in to this topic,Hanfu was actually influenced by Korea!

  • philippines dress....so western....

  • Philippine national costume look so elegant made of pineapple. Baro at Saya, but there's a lot of different kinds of costumes in the Philippines like our local tribe from the north to southern Philippines due to our history. Philippines is a melting pot of different culture.

  • Korean music "Ariran?" is so nice.

  • I like the chinese hanfu and qi-pao, so graceful and elegant

  • Why do you only put "Kimono" here?(Japan)

Japan has lot more national costume like " Jyunihitoe(十二単)" "Hakama(袴)".

And there're many kinds of kimono like "Furisode(振袖)" "Uchikake(打掛)".

Jyunihitoe(十二単) is definitely beautiful than normal kimono because women near emperor only wore that.

You should add Jyunihitoe. Its so beautiful.

    FILIPINIANA and MARIA CLARA :)

Mabuhay ang Filipinas at Espana :] viva

  • about the PHILIPPINES.. <-- colonize by spain for 300 years, it adapted alot of Spanish Traditions especially Religion "Roman Catholic" and "Last names" Philippines has alot of ethnic groups with different costumes, however the clothes that are shown here are the Official Traditional Costumes for Filipinos- the butterfly sleeves original FILIPINO.. In the other side I am proud that Philippines was under spain for 300 years

  • Korean women are so beautiful. Pity those dresses make them look like multi-colored light bulbs.

  • 2:48 south korea's national costume with the philippine flag

  • philippines :DD

  • Luv the Philippines!!

  • filipinas... sigh... so lovely in there traditional dress. the song for the Philippines should be Canto De Maria Clara. :)

  • BlasianBoyXD 333 years ...it ended when spain and america had a treaty called "treaty of paris". spain sold our country to america and a new era came we called it "american era"and not so long during world war 2 japanese occupied the philippines and an alliance was form between americans and filipinos to fought for freedom

  • The Terno/Maria Clara/Traje de Mestiza are unique to the Philippines. Yes, the Philipine traditional dress has a lot of Spanish influences but if you take a closer look, it is not entirely Spanish/Hispanic. You will not find any dress in Spain or Latin America that has the "Butterfly Sleeves" of the Philippine Terno/dress. Even the rural ensemble "Baro't saya" is unique to the Philippines. The bell sleeves of the "Baro" is very practical to wear in the hot and humid counrty of the Philippines.

  • Japanese people scares me when they have whte make up all over their faces. :L

  • i love all of them!! especially chinas national costumes!!

  • omfg im so confused hoow long were spanish in the philippines????!!!! because to me it dont seem long ??????someone tell me please!!!!!!!!!oh and i loveure video and that u included Philippines(:

  • @BlasianBoyXD for about 300 years :) were colonized for about 3 century XD

  • @BlasianBoyXD SPAIN colonized the PHILIPPINES , to be exact, 330+ years. not that long?

  • asian traditional dresses are all beautiful

  • why not Pakaian Adat Indonesia??

    we have larger Variation

    Melayu/Aceh/Padang/Tapanuli/Jawa/Sunda/Betawi/Bali/Dayak and Many many more

  • Why the Philippines as Spain's music?

  • @kioka2009 im filipino.because philippines is being influenced by some of the spanish culture and tradition :)

  • @kioka2009 im from philippines..because philippines is being influenced by some of the spanish cluture and tradition.even our race :)

  • @kioka2009 The Philippines was colonized by SPAIN for 330+ years. Started during the early 15th century.

  • asian power!

  • Thai National Costume 1

  • @MegaStreetguy for your information barot saya and barong tagalogs are made from indigenous materials and being died by local roots and leaves that can only be found in the philippines !!! so how come you say we look funny? we look "elegant" and "neat" rather. you know nothing about our dresses.

  • Lovely, just lovely!

  • I like the Chinese,Thai and Japan music

  • where's vietnam's ao dai??

  • most of the thai pics are cambodians... although Thailand had those hat thing, but the attire is so wrong. they had long skirt and a long sash that hangs on their shoulder.. or something like that. Cambodia's culture are really like Thai's O__o

I still think Philippines the best. India looks cool to look at. I love hanbok.. they look so fluffy! ^w^

  • I love the fact that the Philippines outfits are different from the other countries, I actually own several of the outfits shown in this video. (In different colours of course. I used to do dances with my family in those outfits...) I love the fact the the Philippines culture has been so effected by Spain that they have their own style whereas the traditional outfits of other cultures seem to look the same if not similar.

  • Thai look Cambodian??? but i love the Philippines Traditional Dress,, so Elegant and Very nice

  • Philippines national costume is a mix of Spanish (big skirt, lace top), Chinese (embroidery) and Malay (butterfly sleeves).

  • Im Thai. some of that are not thai. they are Cambodian.

  • the saree looks awesome

  • all of the dresses were so beautiful!!!!:)

  • ahha ,pilipin one looks funny .... malay/indo one much better ... pilipin too western wear ,is it original pilipin's??

  • Ahemn..exuses Mega streetguy...Philippines is one of unique dress is Asia..yeah we have different customs but it depends on how u dress on it!

  • @paraisoi thanks what a relief to that guy

  • @MegaStreetguy hello there Mr. mega watch out your comment, yeah it did focus more on european dress spanish 2 be specific coz u dont know the his2ry of the philippines that's y? Spanish regime last for about 300yrs. & of course that's the result of cultural exchange but we filipinos preserve our own culture and belief and that was totally proven thru the filipino struggles to gain their independence,

  • @MegaStreetguy history & culture is not just being concentrated 2 d country u belong its more than that,go beyond my dear?! u are not alone, everything has a connections....

  • @MegaStreetguy actually its was said to be the most feminine costume in asia!!

  • @MegaStreetguy fuck your english...

  • @MegaStreetguy yeah pinoy ppl wear Spanish style clothes

that not tradition that tradition of the former Colonial occupiers

  • @Sungkawa Philippines and Mexico were Spanish colonies for 300 years, we share the same culture. The name "Philippines" comes from King Philip of Spain.

  • @Aruchinjiru i know

but i think it's sad that the origional culture is lost because of spain !

We have been colonized for over 350yrs by Portugual,Netherlands,Britain

but we have maintained our native Traditions

and native names but when I see the philipenes they even lost the native names

i understand but it's sad to see how neative the Spanish influence was to it's former colonies

  • @Sungkawa and thats how i was born~ to have a spanish blood~ 0.o

  • @MegaStreetguy We have been conquered by three nations -Spain, US and Japan, but we Philippines do have its own. It's unique in its own.

  • @MegaStreetguy

there is a lot of traditional dresses in philippines if you want to know more why don't you try to search in google

  • @MegaStreetguy The dresses you saw were a result of Spanish colonization. (Damn these White devils for messing with Asia). Anyway, the last few you slides in the Philippine dresses were of Khmer, Malay, and Indonesian inspired. These were pre-hispanic.

  • GO PHILIPPINES!! WOW PHILIPPINES!!!

  • philippines really inherited the culture of being elegant of the spanish era and thats dress is called the filipiniana dress.

  • yeah...it was because of 333 years colonization.. I wonder..if the spaniards didn't colonized philippines what would be our traditional dress...hehehe ^_^

  • @101489MSCATLEYA
