it's sad Julian doesnt get the respect and honor he deserves- he's not John, and doenst try to take advantage of his Dad's music like Sean and has a caring heart, even founding his own charity The White Feather Foundation to save the environment and give humanitarian groups financial aid. all the money Julian gets goes toward buying back John Lennon's possessions Yoko sold off instead of giving Julian
Wrong actually. Julian had been recording his own version of the lead guitar for the demo he played to producer Bob Ezrin. Bob suggested they get George Harrison to record it, but it was at the time Eric Clapton's son died and George was busy consoling him. George did record a few rough licks for consideration - the actual solo was played by Steve Hunter who combined the ideas of Julian and George in his version. At best you could say it was inspired by George Harrison.
I didn't want to like Julian's music years ago, somehow, thought he was a copy of his dad. But, you know what? A lot later, coming back to this, it's a great song. It takes something special to come up with this. His dad would have, finally, have been incredibly proud of him. Shame he wasn't here to see it.
