@zaxgamez its up to you man, if you like tons of games and apps and want to carry on your pocket, get the ipod, if you want to use it in your house, or school (work) i don't know, read books, casual web browsing and casual gaming, go ahead get the kindle fire,

Personally me, i would wait a little for the 250 dlls ASUS Memo with tegra 3 and all the goodies,

And if you go for the kindle fire i would consider the blackberry playbook too, cause there are some retailers selling it for 200 bucks
