Seriously guys, don't do this, there is no point in it whatsoever, stick with the MP3 version because it is more compatible and also converting one lossy format to another just incurs digital generation loss resulting in pre echo, and an "underwater feeling" to the sound which is unpleasant to listen to, this is a totally pointless exercise resulting in just poorer sound quality at a larger file size! Keep the MP3 its more compatible, smaller and the quality is better!
@monty78pig the whole point of this tutorial is to go with my other tutorial how to make a HTML5 audio player, and web browser have different supported files and OGG is the most supported one for HTML5.. And some people might need to convert it to OGG for some other reason then listening, use your muscle called a "brain"
@availguy I'm totally not buying that, nothing is better supported than MP3, the only site I can think of that uses OGG is wikipedia. Why you idiots don't use a lossless master is beyond me...
@availguy I don't hate OGG, it's a great open source format for lossy audio compression and Vorbis is a very efficient codec. It's just that transcoding happy idiots who don't understand what they are doing.
