Public Speaking Tips: How to Be Humorous Even If You Are Not Naturally Funny

Okay I want to say something, you're teaching people on how to be funny so they are going to try it. I hate people who try to be funny. Me I can make some people laugh but not all, I don't expect people to laugh when I make a joke. There is no such thing as 'being funny' its something that some people can do. No offense if you want to teach people how, but this just my personal opinion, don't take it too seriously.

@DAN5675able Thank you for your feedback. I was wondering, have you ever tried transferring your sense of humor to the stage? I have a feeling the humor you are referring to is not public speaking humor. When being humorous among people you speak to off stage, you have some advantages which cannot be transferred to the stage. Just try the same humor you use with friends on the stage and you will get what I mean. And I do believe you CAN be more humorous on stage by learning to be.

@perry160598 yeah but mostly i refer to the kind of people who are obnoxious and annoying, bothering you with their jokes, those are people who try to hard to be funny.

Sorry dude but if you are not naturally humorous, you will never be. You can't change who you are... So, how to know if you are funny? Be yourself. If you are funny great! if you are not, oh well... but you are yourself... and who knows you might be spiderman, or marry poppins...
