i used to live in sarasota florida in the nineties and bought a 12 dollar ticket to the sarasota blues festival whose lineup included derek trucks then 18 and his 10 year old brother on drums and we were blown away, also performing was the davey allison band, jimmy vaughn and finally gregg allman, it was one of the best shows i have ever seen,,and for only twelve bucks!! lol...

I was there, and it was amazing. The Soul Stew Revival is the best blue-eyed soul band since Joe Cocker with Mad Dogs & Englishmen back in 1970. As I recall, they followed Hey Jude with My Favorite Things as the finale. Incredible night.
