Well it turns out I had a bad plug wire and your truck is quite a bit lighter than mine. It's all about power to weight ratio.

there is no difference really...all the tow/haul gear does is lock your last gear so it wont shift into it. just makes it easier to hual a trailer at higher speeds

mines faster and same truck . handhelds suck go with a custom tune

I have a Chevy 6.0L 2004 2500HD, it doesn't matter if it's in tow/haul when you're flooring the pedal, the tow/haul mode only keeps the revs up high when driving normally, thus keeping the truck in a bigger gear for longer.

Oh yeah Duramax should be faster. It runs faster now as I have installed a programmer

I got the hypertech max energy, it works great but won't let you get so agressive you will tear something up.

i got the hypertech and it works great, my cousin has the diablo and he says thair about the same ( we have identical trucks) but it seems that with the hypertech you have to run a higher grade gasoline cuz it likes to spark knock here and then on 87. but its like having a whole new truck.
