Nicole is the only member to make it further in her career, the rest just vanished. Nicole in PCD was the only singer because she had the best voice and the other girls were dancers NOT singers, nicole and melody could only sing but nicole had the better voice! Obviously they wont give the other girls the lime light when its a singing group.

aww...i remember this group and the show popstars. they were so young, pretty, and talented. i wish they could've been more than one hit wonders. but i think most of them moved on to at least moderate success anyway. we all know that nicole was the break out star. her personality was always the biggest on the show too.

@FrEaKySxYaZn I use to be a crazy eden's crush fan. i met them, spoke to maile, ana maria and ivette on the phone. i was going to meet them again at macy's in atlanta. i stood outside in the early morning to get a pass for it. they were supposed to come to macy's a few days after we got the passes. but 9/11 happened and ivette (from new york) reportedly said she was scared to travel so it was cancelled. then their record company disbanded, and it was all over. =(

Rosanna was and is my fave. As you know she does TV hosting but she also records as Chana. Look up her EP on itunes "Manos arriba". She is AMAZING, have seen her live twice now. And I told her what a huge EC fan I was and she totally got a kick out of it. Unfortunately girl groups like this have a short shelf life. Hey but at least we got this one album.

But we can't know for sure since Eden's Crush is choreographed with singing live in mind. PCD is more about the dancing, with Nicole's being the only one that sings live always. It isn't a fair comparison.

I don't remember this song ever being really popular. In 2001 there was a lot of payola going on to record companies so thats probably why the song got so high on the charts.

I think payola had to play a big part in it. The show Pop Stars came on The WB and the show wasnt all that popular anyway.

I think groups like O-Town and Dream were a bigger success than them and their music was more memorable. I don't know how well O-Town nor Dream did on the charts but they(the groups) were more popular than Edens Crush. Even Nicole doesn't cite them as a past reference cause no1 really remembers them.

nicole has cited them and reflected on her experiences in the group... also trl and billboard charts dont always mirror each other... we can simply agree to disagree.. payola had its peak in the 50's and the came back in mid 2000's a little bit... im not saying there was no payola in 2001... but i dont think it was the main reason for this singles success... you just said your not sure how otown & dream did on the charts, u cant always go by what groups you remember as being "popular"

Not true. I mean it COULD be partially true, but do you honestly think that if you finally had the chance to be a "Popstar" that you would give it up because of ONE other person? Aside from that, Ivette had been sick. Not really sure what was going on with Ana or Maile, but I know Rosanna wanted to move on as well. She still does music, but hates when people bring up Popstars and/or Eden's Crush. Nicole basically got lucky by getting involved with PCD and luckily it worked for her and them too.
