When Kurt Angle and Mr.Perfect were in wwf at different times had the same theme song. Just Like the hulk hogan roll-n wrestling song and jake the snake roberts theme.Big show and Big daddy cool had the same song as well.
Best entrance: To me most wont remember, but The Artist formerly known as Prince Iaukea had a kick ass entrance...it was a rip off of Purple Rain but it was cool to me. One of the few rip offs that worked in WCW too me.
Chris Jericho also...his WWE entrance is epic, from the time you see the countdown to when the pyro hits its awesome...especially his return

The best entrances, in my opinion, belong to The Sandman, Goldberg, Undertaker (Funeral director, ABA, and Deadman), The Rock, and Vladimir Kozlov. I like Kozlov's because it was epic as hell! A man walking to the ring with the lights dimmed, a single spotlight, in complete silence. Simple, yet epic.
a merchandising idea would be 4 a "wrestling roundtable" jersey &/or jersey-style/-esque t(ee)-shirt...just an idea...maybe a long-sleeve "old-school" style(d) 1!!!

1: Never go to CZW.

I think Y2J is the greatest of all times, especially Y2J of 99-02. He is an amazing persnality and amazing athlete and he is number one to me. The Jericho of today is ok but not as great as jericho of the past, but I still love him, and I believe they can be doing great thins with his new gimmick and I hope to see that happen on smackdown. Now you may not agree that he is the greatest and thats cool, but for me he is. I'm curious to know of great wrestlers where would you put him.
Orton is not bad, he is just not being used right. This shit with him and triple h should have been done years ago, or they could've been building and booking their feud better, but they dropped ball with it and made a bunch lame decisions and fucked it up. I personally blame triple H and his ego for this.

When I'm thinking about entrances, I'm thinking about Dragon Gate's BxB Hulk entrance. Not a legendary entrance, but one of my all-time favorites, this young japanese wrestler has the gimmick of a J-Pop singer that all the ladies love. And the thing I love in his entrance, is his little dance that he does with 2 or 4 female dancers, a very entertaining choregraphy. If you don't know him, you need to search "BxB Hulk entrance" on YouTube. ^^
There was one entrance/entrance theme in this vid that I truly believed should have instantly been talked about...Gangrel. As soon as you heard that breathing, you're like "oh shit" then you see him come out of the fire. He's got that kick ass music. Drinking from the goblet, it was just awesome.

Another entrance theme I like and I don't care what anyone says, Gregory helm's theme with the gay looking sunglasses on the titontron after he dropped the Hurricane gimmick when he was Cruiserweight champ, I thought that theme ruled.
I liked Bret Hart's entrance when he was a FACE, not as a HEEL. It's all about the walk. The walk combined with those cool jackets, the shades, and the hair.... I use to mimic his walk when I was a kid. There's a particular way the Hitman walked to the ring that I always thought was soooo cool.
Berlyn's entrance was fucking stellar. Man that actually left me in aww just seeing the whole entrane with the music and everything it was really neat. Shame he wasn't used properly.
The Brood. Even Undertaker said it was the best entrance he's seen. He told Dave(Gangrel) "For you, it doesn't matter what you do in the ring, cause in that time you walk out of the fire to spit the blood, no one can touch you on that, no one."
Cool topic idea! How about we talk about wrestler's overall looks? We could have some great conversation about how Undertaker's look has evolved to incorporate alot of different trends or how weird it was seeing Hogan "unshaven" wearing all black.
Final Countdown may be not the greatest song but Danielson makes it seem special. Being at a live ROH show, when the crowd starts banging on the rails and the opening keyboard solo hits, you feel like you are watching something special. Undertaker live is one of the best entrances to experience live whether you like the guy or not.
I know we deserve to die just because we don't like the same wrestlers as you, but instead of calling for us eating lead, maybe you can say WHY you think they're not bad.

I always enjoyed the Road Warriors coming out to Iron Man in their big gladiator spiked suits! It was even better when they'd rush right into the ring and start kicking everybody's ass before the match even started.

My pics for best all around entrances: The Undertaker, Goldust, Kane, Austin, HHH, Brock, Y2J and The Rock. There are little things that make each one of these great. TIMING. These guys timed certain gestures just right which is why they had/have such epic entrances. I think Timing is key. The music has to fit the attitude of the character. These guys got it right.
Thinking about it now, I loved Stone Cold's entrance, but when he'd use the middle fingers. There's nothing better than hearing a breaking glass, the badass music, and then seeing him flip off the crowd. Nice.

bryan danielson may be able to if wwe ever take wrestling seriously, and apreciate talent, which will be never. and theres no point of overeacting to every high spot, wwe fans hardly ever get up and only a portion of the crowd ever say holy shit, ROHbot god you must be a genius or something.ROH fans apreciate the wrestling thwy give to the audience and actually i'm pretty sure when a match ends near enough everyone stands up to clap and appreciate the wrestlers who are woring their asses off.

all you look at is the look, so you want steroid filled wrestler with muscles on top of muscles who can hardly wrestle like batista. batista has hardly any mic skills but still people like him for people a big muscly who just always win because thats hows he presented. i dont think batista would wrestle fo 50 mins after injuring his shoulder and as for danielson's mic skills, they are more interesting than what cena, etc bring to the plate. he at least always gets my hyped up for his match.

Im surprised no one mentioned DX as an entrance. I know that the panel isnt hot on 2006-today DX, but that entrance really was innovative with the titantron coming in and out of the live feed (you might catch a little epilepsy here and there, but hey, Im willing to risk that) and the music was damn cool. When you heard "Are you ready?" you knew something great was going to happen.

Man how long have you been watching Wrestling? The Pyros and strobes and stuff were never needed to make a great entrance.
Undertaker's entrance was at its best in 1991-1993. The Gong followed by silence was perfect!
And who can forget the Ultimate Warrior who ran full speed to the ring to that heavy guitar and get 60,000 people to go bananas!
Even original ECW..with the pop culture themes. and no pyro, like Sandman or New Jack or RVD or Taz or the FBI?

I think Y2J is the greatest of all times, especially Y2J of 99-02. He is an amazing persnality and amazing athlete and he is number one to me. The Jericho of today is ok but not as great as jericho of the past, but I still love him, and I believe they can be doing great thins with his new gimmick and I hope to see that happen on smackdown. Now you may not agree that he is the greatest and thats cool, but for me he is. I'm curious to know of great wrestlers where would you put him.

Let me put it this way, he's definitely in my top 5 or top 10 list.
I say Y2J's one of the best examples of what wrestlers Should BE! MVP's close to his level, but needs to improve his in ring tactics.
And yeah, Y2J is sub par from the time span u put up. IMO fuck the codebreaker, bring back the Lionsault as a finisher as well as Walls of Jericho!
and To be honest....I don't remember one time Y2J disappoints in a wrestling match.

Orton is not bad, he is just not being used right. This shit with him and triple h should have been done years ago, or they could've been building and booking their feud better, but they dropped ball with it and made a bunch lame decisions and fucked it up. I would rather him just stop wrestling all together if he is not willing to work with younger stars and become a backstage booker. So that way he wan't become biased towards other wrestlers in order to protect his ego

When I'm thinking about entrances, I'm thinking about Dragon Gate's BxB Hulk entrance. Not a legendary entrance, but one of my all-time favorites, this young japanese wrestler has the gimmick of a J-Pop singer that all the ladies love. And the thing I love in his entrance, is his little dance that he does with 2 or 4 female dancers, a very entertaining choregraphy. If you don't know him, you need to search "BxB Hulk entrance" on YouTube. ^^

There was one entrance/entrance theme in this vid that I truly believed should have instantly been talked about...Gangrel. As soon as you heard that breathing, you're like "oh shit" then you see him come out of the fire. He's got that kick ass music. Drinking from the goblet, it was just awesome.

However I thought Brocks theme just made it clear that they were trying to make him seem better than he really was.
Another entrance theme I like and I don't care what anyone says, Gregory helm's theme with the gay looking sunglasses on the titontron after he dropped the Hurricane gimmick when he was Cruiserweight champ, I thought that theme ruled.

I liked Bret Hart's entrance when he was a FACE, not as a HEEL. It's all about the walk. The walk combined with those cool jackets, the shades, and the hair.... I use to mimic his walk when I was a kid. There's a particular way the Hitman walked to the ring that I always thought was soooo cool.

Final Countdown may be not the greatest song but Danielson makes it seem special. Being at a live ROH show, when the crowd starts banging on the rails and the opening keyboard solo hits, you feel like you are watching something special. Undertaker live is one of the best entrances to experience live whether you like the guy or not.

Forget the haters. You guys bring up great points and no one has to actually agree with you. Anyway, great topic. My pics for best all around entrances: The Undertaker, Goldust, Kane, Austin, HHH, Brock, Y2J and The Rock. There are little things that make each one of these great. TIMING. These guys timed certain gestures just right which is why they had/have such epic entrances. I think Timing is key. The music has to fit the attitude of the character. These guys got it right.

First of all.. Yeah i thought Goldberg with security was so stupid back in the day. Sparks, fake harmless sparks or the man'd be charred all the fuckin time, are you serious? Hated that. Now Booker's entrance with WWE? Good shit. Triple H's is great. Shawn Michael's has always been a great entrance. The Rock's was great. Luger wcw was awesome.
Also, i agree with the amount of story telling behin Kane, and when he firs came out with that chord, was epic. You just knew it was him, Kane is here.

i may prefer ROH to wwe, simply because they offer great wrestling with great wrestlers that wwe would overlook because they haven't got the 'look'. i dont depise everything that wwe brings to the plate, such as jericho, who has arguably been the most interesting person in wwe this year.i just hate how wwe ignores there talented wrestlers and put people who have inferior wrestling ability, also wwe's match of the years are like ROH's opening 20 min match.

all you look at is the look, so you want steroid filled wrestler with muscles on top of muscles who can hardly wrestle like batista. batista has hardly any mic skills but still people like him for people a big muscly who just always win because thats hows he presented. i dont think batista would wrestle fo 50 mins after injuring his shoulder and as for danielson's mic skills, they are more interesting than what cena, etc bring to the plate. he at least always gets my hyped up for his match.

Like somebody else here, I liked Gangrel's entrance / the entrance with the Brood.
And I love the minimalist approach, but then you have somebody like Vladmir Kozlov who, talented as he may be, has a boring fucking entrance. Then you have somebody like Tazz, who had about the minimalist-est of the minimalist entrances but the place lit up when we heard the dull bass pounds.

Im surprised no one mentioned DX as an entrance. I know that the panel isnt hot on 2006-today DX, but that entrance really was innovative with the titantron coming in and out of the live feed (you might catch a little epilepsy here and there, but hey, Im willing to risk that) and the music was damn cool. When you heard "Are you ready?" you knew something great was going to happen.
