  • Does anybody know the diameter of the handle. I'd like to possibly mount one on an ar-15 with a regular mount.

  • Check out PTS flashlights for a spec run, or try CPF forum...

  • Fenix is TK10 is about 1.5 inches in diameter.

  • Great review. One of the best reviews on the tube. Very detailed. Thanks.

  • The Fenix TK10 is a great flashlight, Waterproof if dropped in a puddle of water. The O-Rings are huge.

  • How much of waterproof is this flashlight? Is it okay to immerse it in water? such as dropping it in a puddle of water, would that be safe?

Also, I can't decide between the p3d and tk10, if you could buy just one, which one do you go with?

Very nice review you did here.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

the TK10 is completely waterproof and can be left submerged in shallow water for a considerable time though it's not dive rated. For regular use i'd go with the P3D. For tough outdoor use the TK10 or TK11.

    Thanks for your comments.

  • I have a P3D Q5. Is it worth buying a TK10? Is it that much brighter?

  • Hi,

the TK10 is only slightly brighter overall than the P3D Q5 but the main difference is that because of its larger reflector the TK10 has a brighter hotspot. This enables it to throw the beam noticeably further than the P3D. For general use the P3D is a fine light and it's only really worth upgrading if you want more throw.
