  • God, Shirley Eaton (yes!), was NOT in this film long enough but to tantalize us. My tongue is still hanging out of my mouth over her, decades later!

  • bond has a seriosly hairy chest at 0:31

  • The best Bond ever

  • The song that is playing in the background when james finds jill masterson painted gold, is the beginning of six underground by the sneaker pimps. anyone else ever notice this?

  • John Barry and Jery goldsmith between them probably epitomise this period in hollywood both masters at their craft and it shows in this short Barry piece would have love to have heard the whole extended piece instead of just a snippit but as long as its Barry it will suffice who said more was necessarily better.

  • this is the most beautiful peace to give you the goldfinger-feeling. music and pictures go along extremely well, movie quality unreached. thank you for 60 seconds of good feelings :-)

  • Many thanks Carsten.

  • Shirley Eaton has to be in the top few Bond girls, even though her role was oh so brief in this film. (I'm still particular to Eunice Gayson as Sylvia Trench). By the time Goldfinger was released (only the 3rd Bond film with Connery), the legend and hype were huge and Eaton graced the cover of Life magazine in her gold paint. And no, "the girl really died" was just an urban legend.

  • My senior prom was at The Fountainbleau hotel! Long live Sean Connery as 007

  • My favorite bond movie ever. It's just classy as hell, and John Barry's soundtrack just cranks it up to the next level. I'm not going to lie to you Youtubers. Sometimes, I'll be driving, and yeah, this song comes on on my Ipod (through the stereo) and I'm like "this Pontiac is probably the working class equivilant of a 1964 Aston Martin DB5 right?" So i hit the ejector seat button the the stick shift. Long story short I'm in a huge legal battle with my ex-girlfriend.

  • that girl REALLY DID die! with all tha paint covering her body, tha pores in ur skin dont get oxygen, so u die....a couple james bond movies, hav had a couple parts where they killed somone...i blame that on tha ppl who made tha movie....where was that one movie where a helicoptor lands to pick up a couple japanese or chinese? well that was edited. wat REALLY happened was the heli was tilted too far, and tha propeller sliced up tha ppl below....another REAL "accident"! this is all true..

  • @PivotStarter97 What incomprehensible dribble. Had it not been so poorly written, it might even have been interesting.

  • Pure class.

  • this is awsome!

  • I bet Miami was the in place in the 60's

  • Best movie ever to be filmed at The Fountainbleau hotel :-)

  • It's amazing I didn't know until today of his passing but for about a week I've been play John's music alot.Peace

    brett

  • RIP John. Bond just isn't the same now. David Arnold's scores don't even come close.

  • i have the original sountrack record from 1964. picked it up at a flea market for only $1 and it is in mint condition.

  • does anyone know if they really filmed at the fontainebleau hotel?

  • @TheTboss77 I think some scenes. You can tell if you look at the grainy backgrounds. Ex: Felix walking to find bond: REAL. Felix close up shot with hotel in background (grainy): FAKE. Bond walking to his changing room and walking near goldfinger's table: FAKE

  • Nice music.

  • mistake the sexy feet is at 00:18

  • loveeeeeeee the feet at 00:20

  • Isn't that position as that red head from Quantum of Solace

  • "Im beginning to like you James "-"so what on earth are we going to do about it? lll tell you at dinner!! I know the best place in town!! My place!!

Classic lines-great editing-thanks for posting! The greatest film franchise in history!!

  • I've always loved this bit of music and it drives me crazy that it's so short!

And the lines: "Do you expect me to talk?" "No, I expect you to die!"

  • The defiinitive Bond movie with the definitive Bond.

  • blonde girl looks like my ex

  • Nicely done!

  • Just what is Bond wearing in the scene with Shirley Eaton ?

  • Jill Masterson WAS hot, wasn't she!?? Shame that they killed her off so quickly. Man, this makes me tingle all over just to catch a few glimpses of her.

But well done on the video!

  • That was great music from the 1960's.

  • If I ever have two sons i will name them John and Barry

  • The best crack at the begining of the movie is when Bond's looking for another bottle of 53 Dom and states "It's like listening to The Beatles without earmuffs on". I bet they wished they could have bleeped that line. Come to think of it, this is Bond and he can say whatever he wants! Goldfinger has to be in evryone top 3 Bond movies of all time just for the car if anything!!

  • ♥ .

  • So nice.

  • Sean Connery, John Barry and anybody else that had anything to do with the making of this movie should have been granted instant immortality by god......if they wanted it of course.

  • those were the days when COOL meant COOL and i wasnt even born.

  • best bond ever !! i love the intro to this movie.

  • when i was a young man i went to see it. i am 59 now and still think i am a young man in mind.i think am 20 again thats why i stay pattaya thailand were all the lady say i young sexy man. may be not sure if i am.but i love being told this. i love goldfinger when sean was young to.i have a good life long may it last its free to some.who dont listen to sad storys from thai ladys after are money. they dont know what love is but they con all who come pattaya men are fools here kaws

  • nupiep wer hat mich lieb , bin so einsam heute , jmand lust zu chilln

  • This is the ultimate Bond sound track. The recording itself is astounding, let alone the orchestrations and performances. Does anyone have information on the dates and studio these tunes were recorded and most importantly I would love to know who the drum was because he was fantastic!!!

  • welcome to miami beach

  • Somebody film me just like this!!! 50/50 split!

  • lov it, fantastic edit.brilliant song selection and scene selection, short and great....

  • Well DONE!!

  • I love this little track so much! It sums up everything about 60's Bond for me. Great vid too!

    :)

  • Mr. John Barry, PIMP!!!!

  • Best looking Bond girl, ever..

  • like megan fox :)

  • Best one minute of Big Band Jazz music I have ever heard.

This piece should be lengthened into a full four or five minute

    instrumental.

  • Very nice, this has always been one of my favorite pieces of Bond music (John Barry rules) and the clip is an excellent addition. Well done. Five stars!

    Cheers!

  • OHMSS is great also... I do like this very big band jazz motif

  • Great little short one, always liked this tune! Nice one STC!

  • THANKS for this great clip! This I think is the BEST of the Bond movies....my all time favorite,in any case. Auric Goldfinger was one of the all time GREAT movie vilians...he wanted to corner the world's gold market....and reportedly he had a cousin who wanted to corner the "PREPARATION H" market...his name was ERIC STINKYFINGER!

  • Q: What happened when James Bond had to use cheap toilet paper?

    A: GoldFinger!

  • now hear this goldfinger, your luck is about to change! grat peice of music, shame it,s not longer

  • "Shall we say ten thousand dollars? No, let's be generous. Let's make it fifteen thousand."

    Thanks for your comment.

  • I played that 1964 L.P. till i wore it out.knew every track before it played. CLASSIC.

    Galildog

  • Shirley Eton was a cracker , shame she was not in the film for longer ,what a Honey,

  • Was at the Eden Roc, Next door to the Fountainbleu..Had dinner at the new italian restruant @ the FB...fabulous... And cant get over the great service and view my wife and I had at the Eden Roc..And the FB is a TOTAL REMODEL..absolutely posh...BOND posh...Oh to be so wealthy you could live in Miami Beach...

  • FYI...a couple of the hotels seen in the "Into Miami" footage are still there on Miami Beach..were deserted for a number of years and are now recently being gutted and renovated...

  • i stayed at the fontain blue a couple of months back awsome place

  • The gold standard in moviemaking and film scores. Mr Barry is the Guv'nor;-)

  • One of my two favorite John Barry James Bond scores (the other being "On Her Majesty's Secret Service").

  • I have searched through google and finally found the track title! :D

    It's a magnificent composed soundtrack!

  • that girl at 00:10 is soooo cute!!!

  • Margaret Nolan as Bond's masseuse 'Dink'. Her body was also painted with gold in the titles and advertisements.

  • @Soundtrackcollector Love the way he dismisses her...tells her it's time for "man talk" and swats her on the ass.

  • brilliant video my friend superb soundtrack by barry

  • Thanks for commenting.

  • I n my opinion, Shirley Eaton was the hottest Bond girl of them all.

  • definitely sets the mood with Shirley Eaton in it!

  • "Into Miami" was originally incorporated in the main title song on the L.P. (it's now heard on as a separate track on the C.D.).

  • Awsome, this is now in my favourites!

  • Check on my Goldfinger video on my Channel, maybe you'll love Goldfinger a little bit less...

  • My favorite Barry Bond piece ... nice to know I'm not alone. And loverly video too! Thanks very much!

  • This track is the epitome of early '60s swanky sophistication. Wonderful mood-setter.

  • Nice. Arguably, Connery's best Bond flick.

  • This is awesome! I actually got to see it at the theater not too long ago and meet Guy Hamilton, the film's director!

Could you send me this music over e-mail?

  • Yes this sequence makes me daydream of spending a week in Miami beach in 1964.

  • brilliant! as much as i like daniel craig as the new bond and david arnold as john barrys' successor, they just cant recreate this level of 'cool'

  • YES VERY COOL 5*s

  • this is some of the best John Barry I have ever heard.... The daddy of James Bond music

  • "Into Miami" is the best!

  • Does anyone no of a longer mix of this cool track?
